Did anybody see that Antonio Brown had his feet in cryotherapy-it is supposed to freeze irritated nerves and help with muscles in temps up to -200 degrees. Supposedly Brown didn't have the proper foot protection and he suffered extreme frostbite on his foot.

I saw that .. it's what he gets for thinking he could do it without a trainer .. or getting directions.

We have Hunt.

The Chiefs still have Hill.

I think talent is more important than coaching at the professional level.

Hunt is out of KC, but Hill is still there.

Playoff exit? They gave New England the toughest game of any team in the playoffs. It was in the AFC Championship game. They had won the game when they picked off Brady while they were leading the Pats late in the fourth quarter. A late flag was thrown and they called that a DE on the opposite side of the field was lined up in the neutral zone.

Their QB had the best year of any qb in the NFL last year in his first year as a starter. They have the best TE in football and Hill is a home run hitter. They have talent all over the field. I think the additions of Clark and Matheau will help w/leadership and performance on defense. They also replaced their DC and that should help them, as well. Andy Reid is an innovative play designer and play caller.

They might not win it all, but yes, I would put them number one right now.

In terms of AB ... that’s a rough injury. I’ve wanted to try cryotherapy myself, but that’s bad luck/bad planning on his part

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yes, the Niners game is a TOUGH game IMO ... their offense should be good and front 7 is strong too

I can agree with the line about Andy Reid, he has long been one of the leagues top coaches, and I don't think he has won it all yet.

It would be some story to see them, there have been years I rooted for the chiefs once the playoff teams were set.

Yet I'dd rather see the Browns win it all this year! Ehrmm!

In spite of how I feel about when they make moves like trading Duke away so close to the start of the "actual" season.

Sources: AB files helmet grievance against NFL

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27356491/sources-ab-files-helmet-grievance-nfl

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has filed a grievance against the NFL to be allowed to wear the helmet he prefers, not the one the league mandates, league sources told ESPN on Friday.

Brown is expected to have a hearing that will occur as early as next week, and an arbitrator will decide whether or not he gets to wear the helmet he wants.

New NFL rules being enforced this season say he can't. The helmet that Brown is comfortable in and has worn throughout his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers is no longer certified by NOCSAE -- the National Operating Committee for Standards and Athletic Equipment.

The NFL has a policy of not allowing players to wear helmets that are not certified by NOCSAE. NOCSAE's rule has been that no helmets older than 10 years can be worn.

Brown is expected to have a hearing as early as next week, and the arbitrator will decide whether or not he gets to wear the helmet he wants. New NFL rules in effect this season say he can't.

It's the latest complication in what has become a complicated summer for Brown, from his head to his feet. He suffered extreme frostbite on his feet as a result of not wearing appropriate footwear when he entered a cryotherapy chamber last month in France, a source told ESPN.

The foot injury has limited his practice time this summer, and he has not been in camp recently as he meets with specialists.

Other league sources, however, have wondered how much his absence stems from the helmet issue, which has been an ongoing battle since the start of training camp.

Brown also has been unhappy that the NFL has blocked him from wearing the helmet that has has worn throughout his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The NFL and NFLPA want players to wear helmets designed in the most effective manner to safeguard against potential head injuries.

The Raiders are "aware and supportive of Antonio Brown, but [have] no further comment."

During the offseason, the NFL and NFLPA added 11 helmets to their joint list of approved equipment for this season while eliminating a grace period for other models that have fallen short in laboratory testing. By the end of last season, the NFL said 32 players were wearing helmets that now are banned. Brown was one, and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady -- who has openly complained about the rule -- was the other.

Though the league and NFLPA has tested helmets since 2018, last year was the first time it banned curtain models and this year it is enforcing the rule and trying to make no exceptions. The league even has said that any player wearing a banned helmet will be subject to discipline.

A.B. needs to be told he doesn't call the shots here. He should have enough money to not worry about working anymore.

The NFL - you know, the place he made his money, is doing the best they can to eliminate or at least diminish head injuries, and here he is saying "my old helmet, or I won't play"?

See ya.

Divas and attitude are things I don't do well with.

A couple boxers come to mind as far as bizarre behavior and requests (both later diagnosed as M-D and B-P): Oliver McCall and Ike Ibeabuchi. Both great talents with a bit of faulty wiring.

Then again, Brown may not be anymore disturbed than Terrell Owens.

I hate saying this, but the Bi-Polar thing was exactly what I was thinking about when I mentioned AB's mental illness. It's a tough disease. I hope he gets help if that is indeed the problem.

Too many shots to the head, from his now teammate Vontaze Burfict, while wearing a helmet that is not up to safety standards.

Well this is its 14th season so it appears as though it's done pretty well.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This has disaster written all over it again with Brown ... already laying down ultimatums before he ever runs a route.

As others have eluded, obviously AB has some mental and/or narcissistic issues. It seems to be getting worse
