I think he was being humorous.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

I want to know who "we" is, and whoever thinks what they did was "best" they need to be questioned, re-evaluated, and probably fired.

Anderson's job could be temporary Browns QB starts for now, but Quinn waiting in wings
LOL,, the only way Andersons job isn't temporary is if he lights it up and wins every game.. !
Or if somebody rolls on Quinns leg after a sideline route... wait, did I say that out loud?

It wasnt out loud DC you typed it.
That isnt very funny though.
I think Quinn running the scout team against the D is a great thing. Anything that gets him more reps with this playbook is good.
Forget the roles of the #2 & #3. The coaching staffs job at thi spoint is to get him ready. If that means changing up the normal routine so be it.

Wait a minute! All those that are so gleeful about Charie being gone said he wasn't a leader and wasn't respected. BQ is an idiot! Doesn't he know that people on this message board have declared Frye was NOT a leader? What a moron he is!
Let's see ...... young player, talking about a guy gone for a day ..... who probably still has some friends on the team ......
Frye could have been a cross between the 3 stooges and Satan (and no, I don't believe this to be the case) and his former teammates would still find something positive to say about him. It's the nature of the business.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Yea, the question isn't what are the Browns saying about Frye, the question is, what is Frye going to say about the Browns once he feels a little more removed from the situation....

I dont think that talking about the Browns in a negative way is in Frye's character. He's a stand up guy.

Saying something nice and saying things like he was a leader, that the players had confidence in him (Hank said that last night on STO) etc. are two different things. The things coming from the players are clearly the opposite of what some of the geniuses on the board have claimed.

Coach, I've been a supporter of Frye,, in as much as I wanted to see what he looked like behind a better line..
But honestly, what is it you expect the players to say about him,,
I can hear it now if Fraley would say,, oh yeah, Frye sucked etc etc...
You are never gonna hear that... even if they wanted to say it, which I'm pretty sure the don't, they would not say it...

No, what he said was, "We had as much confidence in him as we did anybody else."

I still don't know what Holmgren thinks about Frye.. some reports had him wanting Dorsey instead. Others say he was looking at Frye in the draft... go figure.

Daman, I would expect them to say things when asked, not go out of the way to say it like these guys did unprodded or unquestioned.
DC, he specifically said "Charlie", not "everyone" in the interview I heard.
