yeah Dorsey loves his draft picks ... as for Corbett, it sounds like backup C to see if he can improve

Looks that way, brought in 1 from Buffalo and 1 from Green Bay, but Corbett is still on the team (so far).

Corbett's draft status is the only thing keeping him on the team. My guess is that he doesn't make it through the season and ends up on the practice squad.

My only concern is placement and strategy in the punting game. Gillan is raw and it's as simple as that.

Hopefully he will be able to drop a ball in the 5yd area when punting at a 35 -40 range..

All I have seen from the guy is simply booting it as hard as he can and then running to make a tackle.

Been waiting along time for this guy... how many games are lost because the coverage let a returner get by and the punter ran away... I love the Hammers willingness to Hammer a returner.

Can anyone offer up an update on the 2020 draft picks we still have after our recent trades?

The picks are undisclosed.

Ok. That was my guess, but with the whirlwind of news, I didn't know if I had missed something.

Thanks.

I think Taylor for a 7th is a rather good deal.

Seems like Alonzo Highsmith "discovered" McCray at a UCF pro day, and Campen had a lot of good things to say while coaching him in GB. He played all over the line in Green Bay due to other injuries, so we know he has versatility and have guys who spent a lot of time seeing him up close.

Rumor swirling on Twitter: Giants looking to trade Evan Engram, and he’s unfollowed them on social media

j/c, Devalve is a bit of a surprise, because no other TEs' left have seen time @FB.

That might indicate that we are not secure with Harris as our inline blocking TE.

Anybody have any info on McCray? Is he just a depth guy?

Begs the question if Kitchen was BS'ing to the media or if his opinion was overruled in the end.

I like DeValve, but if this is a situation where the FO goes with their approach moreso than being influenced by a coach, then I'm ok with that. All too often coaches have negatively influenced this roster. Sure, a third string TE decision is different that a 1st round QB or WR, but I like limited influence by coaches.

Bill O'Brien is a great recent example and, of course, the AJ McCarron fiasco.

Taylor did have some problem with drops in Tennessee. Just saying.

Looking at highlights of Taylor .. speed is not his problem, his hands and understanding of the playbook have been lol

My biggest question is about who we are going to have covering kicks.

Otherwise no real surprises. With 10 OL, looks like Kush could go from starter to street fairly quickly.

Yeha part of Titans problems were relying on Taylor, as they upgraded with AJ Brown and Adam Humphries...Hopefully he improves here as #4

I think that is a good possibility that we place a waiver claim with a CB.

I can't feel comfortable saying too much at this point because the roster is going to change several times over the next day or three.

I just hope the decision on the punter doesn't come back to bite us in "real" games. I am not predicting it will, but I've never been a fan of getting rid of proven and dependable players for potential.
