Oh my

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

LSU defense has been legit... their offense has been horrid since they beat OSU in the national championship game... they look like a complete team this year

They have been lacking at the qb position for a long time. Glad to see Burrows doing well.

Some early thoughts:

--I can't believe Maryland lost to Temple. They were stopped in the red zone on 4th down numerous times. Still, they should have won handily.

--Man, Alabama has some speed. Much more than I thought.

--BYU is physical. Never thought I would say that.

The Pitt coach deserves some harsh criticism for attempting a FG in that situation.... just inexcusable coaching

MSU takes one on the chin. This and the Maryland loss will hurt the Big 10. And Michigan barely beating Army wasn’t a good indicator either.

Iowa State's coach, Matt Campbell, was the coach at Toledo. They shocked Iowa State a few years ago, beating them in OT. I was at the game. I think he was offered the job that night, lol.

I'm telling you guys...........check out the Iowa/Iowa St game on FS1. It's going back and forth and time is winding down. Iowa just kicked a FG to go up by 2. Iowa St is getting the ball w/not much time left on the clock. This has been a great game and both teams are exhausted.

I know Matt well. I know his family well. He is doing a great job and was featured on ESPN's GameDay this morning. Said all the right things and Herbie said "I would wanna play for that guy." Everyone agreed. Matt Campbell rocks!

I remember he was at least considered for our job here l

I had a neighbor who was his assistant the past two years and he is always nothing but complimentary of his coaching/personality

Wow! I do not approve of that targeting call against Kentucky's defensive lineman. Lame.

kind of an underwhelming first few weeks of college football.

Clemson has a cake walk to the CFP. Everyone is waiting on Alabama/LSU.

Ohio State's only tough games come at the end of the season, although I think everyone is just seeing if they can avoid that upset blowout that has happened the last few years.

Oklahoma is pretty good, but also they don't really have a marquee game unless you want to count Texas, but I don't think too many people are doing that right now.

College football is always going to be a top-heavy type league, but this year just seems really really top heavy

Georgia and Auburn seem to have pretty good teams.

I agree ... to me, Clemson is basically in the final 4 already lol

Bama and LSU will be decided on the field

Oklahoma, Georgia, OSU, ND, etc will be fighting for 2 spots

Chip Kelly rode a gimmicky, crazy high paced offense at a Pac10 school, a conference not known for D, all while USC was under scholarship sanction... leaving him more California talent to poach, to a moniker of ‘genius’. His teams couldn’t beat smash mouth football teams like Stanford, or the Buckeyes. I never saw him as anything other than what he was, lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I was ecstatic when he ended up passing up the Browns for the Eagles job.
My guess is UCLA will be no more relevant when he leaves as when he entered.
