I’ll wait to predict next week’s game til I see us tomorrow
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Drew Brees says he hurt his thumb on the pass attempt to Jared Cook & that he hit it on Aaron Donald. Says he is seeing the hand specialist in LA today. Adds he is concerned and that it could be significant. https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/1173392650688270336

Saints without Brees look very pedestrian, if not bad

The Quarterback position has been unbelievably fluid over the past month: Luck (retired) Darnold (illness) Brees (inj) Roethlisberger (inj) Foles (inj) That's 15% of the league and week 2 isn't even over yet. https://twitter.com/RealTannenbaum/status/1173370290753167360

Some thoughts:
--Mahommes might end up being one of the best qbs ever. Dude is magical. He makes some bad throws, but dang, his ball placement on most throws is unreal.
--Chiefs are loaded w/talent.
--Dak is playing very well. Cowboys have a ton of talent. I dislike them, but they are a contender.
--Shame about Brees. They fell apart after he went out. Teddy looked bad.
--Chargers have too many injuries. Ouch.
--Lamar Jackson was the target of many insults by fans in the Division thread in PFF, but he looks pretty good to me.
--K. Murray is streaky, but I like how he keeps coming at you. That's a good trait.
--Huge win for Indy over the a Titan team that beat us by 30 last week. Brissett played well.
--My bouys, Kyle Shannahan and Jimmy G whupped up on the Bengals. That was sweet.
--Cousins makes the dumbest mistakes in crunch time.
--Da Bears can't win big w/that offense.
--lead called R. Wilson a pansy and no one said a word. What? That is so false. Dude is a baller. Big time. W/out him, they would be challenging for the first overall pick.
--Miami? I didn't watch any of it, but moves like this are a disservice to all who have played sports.

Based on games played, individual stats, and team success, I’m not buying the narrative that Wentz is better than Prescott.

Wentz takes some stupid risks I don't get to watch the Eagles that much, but I liked, still do, Foles, and they shipped him away in favor of Wentz. I go back and forth between two opinions, 1. Wentz can't be that bad, I'll look for him to show up or 2. Wentz vacuums, (the entire floor of a Macy's store).

Yes, that is what I meant. But, upon reflection, it's too early too call. I don't think Baker reads covreages well and it's been pretty obvious when we have asked him to read the entire field. Then again, Wentz looks like crap tonight.

I think both guys are good. Would love to have either. I think the reason people aren't as high on Dak is because he sometimes has a tendency to miss really simple throws. Gimme throws that may be difficult for a guy off the street to complete but not a professional QB. He will usually have one or two of these head scratchers a game. He's off to a great start this season however. This is just my opinion based on my own personal observation of watching him over the years. If I had to rank the three today would go like this... Wentz Mayfield Prescott I hope Mayfield is the clear number one in another year or so.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

McCown is very decisive at least

That might be the best shovel pass I've ever seen.
that didn't end in a td anyway, a 30 yard shovel pass, pretty handy.

I just realized, I haven't watched the Eagles in 3, maybe 4 years when Wentz wasn't out of the game, and they had 2 playoff runs and a Super Bowl win.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I honestly thought McCown looked better tonight, albeit a smaller sample size

Philly’s OL is getting pretty well handled here ... Wentz doesn’t have much time and he is feeling it too
