Ouch.

Just roll with the guys we got.

I hope that rumor is false. Last night, I was making fun of the proposed trades because I didn't think there was any way we would trade for Ramsey. But maybe, the joke is on me? blush

I don't know........it just doesn't make any sense to me. Ramsey is a great player, but you are going to trade next year's first round pick plus the number 4 overall pick from last year for a guy who is going to demand a huge contract while removing two guys that would be on rookie deals?

That seems ridiculous to me and it's why I was making fun of the proposed trades. I really hope this isn't true.

Unless we feel like Ward is damaged goods or won’t ever be the same as last year, I don’t think I’d even consider that trade

I don't see us trading for him, and we did I would have to really questions Dorsey.

1. We have Baker, Myles, Ward, etc. that will all need paid. Do we really want to pay all that money to another CB?

2. Why are we looking to trade and upgrade at a position of depth and skill, when we have GLARING needs at TE and OL. Last I checked, if hubbard cant go, we have 0 tackles behind him right now.

I hope this is all smoke, because I think it would be complete mistake.

I thin Jalen is the best Corner we have seen since Revis, IMO. But its just not a need or worth the trade, IMO.

Let Sam Phenix know that the Browns aren't traveling to Los Angeles to play the Rams this Sunday.

Little things like this drive me crazy and sometimes can cost credibility. Ugh.

I think this is the case...he looks like an UDFA so far this year..something is def. not right. Very one dimensional and is exposed in Wilks defense...which lead me to my question, why are we asking guys to play that way when it hurts the team

That would be moronic.

Besides, how many Cover CB's do we need to play Zone all the damn time?

Where is the benefit??

I know everyone likes Ward, I like Ward, but the dude is not built for the NFL and can't stay on the field. Ramsey would be an upgrade IMHO.

Did you guys see injury report for RAMS...we need DB's that can stay on the field...

Also, hamstring injuries seem to be very common this season for us....hmmm.

i didn’t like the Ward pick at the time ... and i’ll Admit that it appeared that I was WAY wrong last season ... but I’m a bit worried right now again

Hamstrings are common for us every year.

I don't think giving up the draft compensation AND the money to swap Ward for Ramsey makes sense. I see that he's better, but is he so much better to justify an extra high pick and a bunch of cash? My answer is no.

In general, perhaps people don't realize that we're finally past the stage where adding any talent is a positive. We have talent, now we need to fill holes, and db isn't one of them. That really the core idea behind people jokingly asking, "can he block?".

Report: Jaguars not interested in trading Ramsey
https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/1837173

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not interested in trading star cornerback Jalen Ramsey despite the player's desire to be moved, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ramsey would have been moved by now had the Jaguars wanted to trade him, Schefter adds. Team owner Shad Khan is reportedly at the forefront of the decision to keep the disgruntled 24-year-old.

The fifth overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft requested a trade after last week's loss to the Houston Texans. Ramsey said he made the request after "some disrespectful things were said" about him during a conversation with members of the Jaguars' front office.

The former All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler remains adamant about being traded, Schefter reports. The situation could lead to a showdown between team and player.

Ramsey played in Thursday's win over the Tennessee Titans, racking up nine tackles.

What this team really needs now are good OTs. We have the skill players now build the OL.

I think we need to trade for a new offensive play caller. Currently ours is offensive.

Especially the way that we play zone. WWE are awful: flat-footed sleds and too slow for a bunch of it.
