it's gonna be a shootout baby!!!!

i think our offense can absolutely take it to the Rams defense. however, our secondary got slightly torched by a 3rd string QB, and i'm not liking Ward's play on the field right now.

Hopefully we get randall back. we need him badly.

same as last time! post the W-L prediction, as well as 3 offensive players stats, and the defense sack/turnover #'s

Mayfield: 433 yards, 4 TD's, no turnovers, 23 yards rushing.
OBJ: 198 yards, 2 TDs
Chubb: 126 yards, 1 TD, 73 yards receiving

Defense. 2 sacks, 1 TO

Rams win 48-41

Just was looking at their roster and depth chart.

This is a good team on both sides of the ball.

We will need to play a quality game. Can not afford mental mistakes.

IMO there will be an emphasis on getting the ball out quicker. To much patting the ball in the last game. I think there will be guidance for Baker to take the easy opens.

They have a good offense with balance in run/pass. We will need to be effective in playing both.

I don't see a shoot out.

I think this will be a beat down. Our offense will be embarrassed against this rams D. Only way we stay in it is to shorten the game with Chubb and play good defense. So knowing kitchens 35-9 rams. Donald against our oline we might be seeing Landry at qb

I would expect the Rams to beat us by 10-14 if they get their offense figured out.

If we get our offense figured out... I expect to beat the Rams by 10-14.

Honestly, I think this game comes down to defense.

Neither teams O will do much. Donald will wreck havoc us all day long.

Myles Garret will be wrecking havoc all day long.

Both teams have very good Defenses.

this game comes down to a low scoring D kinda game. Could go either way. Due to Donald not being 100% due to that back im going

9-6 Browns

If we want a chance to win this game, its going to have to be a low scoring ugly D kinda game...we get into a shootout with the rams, we lose, its that simple.

Well the over under is 49, so you can make a lot of money if you feel that way.

I think a lot depends on Donald’s health and how much they are gonna use Gurley in the passing game. Their offense is probably better than ours ... Cooks, Krupp, Woods are a good trio and they are way more experienced together as a unit now.

I think we can win ... But there has to be progress in several areas.

Line is -2.5 Rams. So Vegas has this a pretty close affair.

I hope they simplify the offense. I hope Baker is able to make a read, see a guy deep or short and get him the ball, hoping Chubb runs twice as often.

Baker needs to get back to the accuracy and poise he showed last year. And our D needs to be smart.

If we play with lack of discipline and the O scheme/calling we have seen so far, we will lose.

A big time litmus test. WHO ARE YOU 2019 BROWNS???

What I don't like about this game, is that we have had Baker in the pocket for both games, ALOT.

Baker is a shorter QB, he needs to move around and find a lane, and his biggest knock is when pressure is coming form the middle, as its harder for a guy his size to get a good throwing lane with pressure in the middle.

Donald is the best in the biz, and he will coming up from the middle on most plays.

It could be another frustrating day for baker.

I think Baker is going to clean up his short game a lot this week. More short passes and more run game will help us stay in this one. O line play will be key IMHO. My gut says the Rams are going to steamroll us, but my homer heart says Browns win by two scores.

Browns 28-17

Baker - 280 yds: 2 TDs (OBJ, Higgins): 1 INT
Chubb - 165 yds: 1 TD
Ward - Pick 6

Let’s hope so ... I think (we all would think) that the past two weeks have been eye openers to both Freddie and Baker ... especially the Jets game IMO. We STRUGGLED offensively. It was honestly worse than the Titans game minus the penalties .. something has to change, and it’s gotta be our approach

I love that we are predicting the punter's performance.

It is truly hammer time.

All the Rams fans are sleeping on us in this one. The Rams might as well.

If we can pressure Goff I think we can force him into some mistakes.

For once, the ball bounces our way a few times in the 4Q and we win.

Not feeling good about this one

Chubb 15 carries, 65 yards

OBJ 7 catches, 110 yards, 1 TD
Seibert 1 for 1 XP, 2 for 2 FG

D gives up 350 yards, has 1 turnover and 3 sacks

We were unfortunate on this pull. Getting the rams at home in December is much more ideal.

I think Goff is a good quarterback but I still think some people give him too much credit.

I would think we have the talent to shut him down... and this could be a 16-15 final or there abouts...

Seeing that Donald will be playing makes this a pretty easy pick for me. Their defense will be a BIG problem for our sputtering O.

Their O has the weapons that we have and a GAMEPLAN that we don’t.

Chubb - 16 carries, 55 yards
Baker - 19-39, 235 yards, TD, 2 INT
OBJ - 5 catches, 60 yards

Rams 26
Browns 13

As fate would have it we have injuries in departments we can least afford it. Our biggest areas of weakness are TE and OT. We suffer in both of those areas this week. Both Goff and Baker have not looked as good as their earlier starts so at QB I see it as a wash.

I think Baker could be helped a lot if we revert back to what was working last year. But I have my concerns that with Monkin here those plays and a large part of the scheme may have left the building.

They have the D to exploit our weakness at RT with Hubbard out and the talent to hurt us in the scheme we're running which we lack both the TE talent and strength of OT to run.

Having said all of that, I expect the score to be lower than some expect and the Rams to have a slight edge.

Rams 23 Browns 20

I don't know what the stats will be but I can see us losing this game by 10 points or more. We don't look good on O at all. The D and ST are pretty good. I hope I'm wrong but I can see us being 2-5 or 1-6 after the next 5 games unless we change things and play better. The wheels could fall off in a hurry.

I don't expect us to win this game... and that was before the Hubbard injury. Rams have tons of talent and are a good 1-1.5 seasons ahead of us in terms of that talent jelling into a viable machine.

I hope to see no more major injuries, and for our offense (and defense) to get focused for a tough opponent and look more competent than the last 2 games.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I feel really good about this one.

We are going to find out about Freddie and Baker this game. I think they make necessary tweaks.

The narrative on Monday will be have the Browns figured things out.

I guess in the spirit of the thread:

Browns 24 Rams 30

Stats?
Chubb 120 yards rushing and a TD
Garrett 2 sacks. Vernon 2 sacks. Aaron Donald 2 sacks.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

When I try and predict outcomes I feel like a gypsy in a closet.

What I will say is from all that has been stated by Freddie and staff there seems to be emphasis upon getting the ball out early and giving Chubb more chances.

In addition, checkdowns, screens etc will come more into play to address the DL of the Rams. Everybody knows the player Donald is.

If the Browns can execute their plan and not turn the ball over. We have a decent shot.

I think we can make some noise with our defense.

I see a close game score in teens or low twenties.

That will be $50 for the grey beard gypsy.
