How the hell did SMU win? They were down 21 at the start of the 4th quarter. Crazy game.

When the Ohio State game is on locally, but not the Georgia game. Georgia game was nationally televised on ESPN. Ohio State was on ABC.

I didn't see it on ESPN. I looked. Multiple times.
Maybe I'm blinder than normal. Or it was blacked out for some weird reason.

There are a lot bad offenses in the Big 10 ... to me, OSU, PSU, and Wisconsin are the only legit teams ... I think the rest are too offensively challenged
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I keep hearing about how good the SEC is, yet I’m watching this auburn-Florida game, and it’s some of the most sloppiest football I’ve ever seen. In what way....2 of the best D's in the country going after it

After this week, I’ll say:
1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. LSU 5. Georgia 6. Oklahoma

OSU won't move up as long as the other teams keep winning regardless of how well we play ... JMHO

Don't worry guys. It doesn't matter where you are ranked now. In late November, then worry.
I am a SEC guy at this point in life. I am a Gator fan. We had a nice win against a real good Auburn D. Now we go to LSU at night.....we will probably lose unless we are special.
I love college football, and contrary to some peoples opinion, I still like OSU even if they are no longer my first team.

JMHO I read that we are tied for 3rd right now I was surprised when I saw that If all teams win out, OSU should finish 2nd. They won't pass Alabama but they should absolutely pass Clemson... Clemson doesn't have a single game on their schedule as hard as Michigan, Wisconsin, or Penn State.

I am not worried at all. We have a good team. I watched the Florida/Auburn game and it was terrible. Sloppy as can be. Too many penalites. Dropped passes, fumbles, inaccurate passes, etc. SEC is overrated, but that is because ESPN owns their rights and they are the major voice of college football.

Looking at this weekend:
Oklahoma/Texas ... I’m going to say OU drills them

Georgia loses to South Carolina! No tie for 3rd now.

Big win by SC and a big loss by UGA

--Nice win by S. Carolina. I am not a huge fan of them, but I live in the Columbia area and it's nice to see them have a good win. Plus, Georgia's loss should help Ohio State.
--Oklahoma beat Texas much worse than the final score indicated. They have a ton of offensive talent. Texas can't tackle.
--Iowa State, under the direction of Matt Campbell, looked very good.
--Alabama gets away w/a ton each week. Refs refuse to call PI on them.
--This LSU/Florida game is shaping up to be a good one.

I’m not impressed at all with the offensive performances in this Iowa/PSU game yet ... unless both D’s are that stout

The BG Falcons mopped the field with their rival the Toledo Rockets. I'm still trying to figure out how. The Falcons are an awful team with a 1st year coach that lost a lot of scholarship players who transferred this offseason. They were 25pt underdogs at home.

That was a crazy game ... it was a 27 point spread

MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network) carried a DII game last night.. Frostburg State vs University of Charleston (WVa)... Frostburg blew them out if anybody cares. I'm sure it was of little interest to anybody but I grew up in Frostburg (didn't go there though)... I enjoyed watching it... Frostburg was just elevated to DII this year and they are 6-1.. it's a small DII stadium (there are HSs in Texas and Ohio with bigger stadiums).. and they did these shots of the sideline reporter and I could see the lights from the house I grew up in, in the background..

LSU’s offense makes them so much better than they typically are

Wisconsin loses to unranked Ilinois 24-23. (on a last second FG) Not good for OSU. Now all they can do next week is prove they are as good as Illinois. OSU is good, but they don't get much help by playing in a weak conference. Beating up on pansies every week doesn't help them a whole lot at the end of the season when strength of schedule starts to kick in. OSU is a quality team. The Big 10 is a inferior conference. OSU needs to dump the Big 10.

I think the SEC has been weak. Who the hell has Alabama played? ESPN favors the SEC because of the contract and the Big 10 is w/Fox.

Penn State has been playing well. Btw.........just an example of the SEC bias. I have two TVs going and one I listened to a comment about Georgia being right in the mix for the playoffs. They lost to S. Carolina. Meanwhile, guys like peen say that Ohio State's chances are in jeopardy because a team on their schedule lost.

Or maybe it is because they have the 3 biggest non conference wins this year. LSU over Texas Georgia over Notre Dame Auburn over Oregon Respect is earned on the field.

If those truly are the 3 biggest non conference games this season and I am not saying that they are or are not, that is a sad commentary of the out of conference schedules teams play.

You are in denial. Your bias against the Big 10 is evident each and every year. You collegiate takes are in line w/your pro football takes. Why get personal? I think the Big Ten is a fine conference. This Penn State Michigan game has been great. I think Ohio State might be the best team in the country. I just think it is silly when people cry SEC bias. No other conference has the big non conference wins this year. I stick to facts not personal preference.
