It is easy to understand. Trump withheld congress approved aid for information on Hillary’s sever and an investigation of the Biden’s. Both are tied to his chances for reelection.
Rudy and other personal layers are trying to obtain the same information.
Trump links Rudy to Bill Barr. Is this a personal effort or an administration effort?
The DOJ and the White House became involved in efforts to quench the complaint when they had no statutory authority to do so. We can go back and forth on the merits, but the White House and DOJ were clearly aware of the potential damage contained in the complaint.
The complaint itself has proven to be accurate in many areas. Many of the bits were known or reported prior to the complaint.
