Our division is looking weak this year. I was just thinking that this is the perfect year for the Browns if they can keep improving through the season. This is such a winnable division.

The Bengals are straight garbage
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I agree, Jules.
I think yesterday's victory was season-defining. We should get better as the year progresses due to experience and continuity. My fear was the the chemistry becoming a problem if we faced too much adversity early on. Yesterday's win was huge!
I actually think we will win the division now.

Man, these guys are afraid to let Rudolph pass the ball.
What were they thinking trading their first round pick. Yikes.

Easy money on the Steelers tonight ... Bengals are atrocious

Agree on all counts. I think we win it too, and I am the queen of pessimism with the Browns. But, it’s shaping up to be their year unless there are key injuries or they revert back to the first game type of play. I think Freddie has learned a lesson in preparation, and I’m feeling very good about things right now.

The Bengals are soft. Absolutely no physicality at all on their D game. No leadership. No hustle.
Dalton is awful. Without AJ to chuck it up to he’s not even an average QB. The O has no identity.
What a mess.
I’m rooting for the Steelers to lose. This doesn’t mean I’m rooting for the Bengals to win. Just the Steelers to lose. It’s not the same thing.

The absolute best development of the season is the coaching staff, their gameplans, and how they've gotten better game to game.
I think this bodes well for the rest of the season.

How long has Dalton been in the league? Maybe 8-10 years? He’s honestly not much better now than then

That is so true. I said that yesterday when we were watching the game at the Browns bar. The coaching staff was the key to what was going wrong, and now what is going right. It alleviated a lot of my fears that they are making the right adjustments. I was impressed.

We should crush Cincinnati And the Steelers. Rudolph is trash. But it’s still the Steelers and their D will probably bother us. Not saying we shouldn’t beat them, but by then Rudolph will be a bit more comfortable too

How long has Dalton been in the league? Maybe 8-10 years? He’s honestly not much better now than then I’ve been saying that for years. AJ Green was most of the reason for any of his success, because he could just lob it up to him and he could come down with it most of the time. When he’s gone, the red rifle is not good. An average to below average QB, along with Marvin, the worst game manager in the world, are why they have not won a playoff game in years. Despite having a lot of talent on that team for many of those years.

Pittsburgh isn't going to beat us with this offense run and short passes

I'm glad. I don't like a steady dose of PT games.

I think Pittsburgh has an effective plan tonight ...not sure how much long term success it will have, but Cincy cant stop them

Jc Posted by cfrs15 It seemed like the goal of our edge rushers was not to get pressure necessarily but to hold the edge and keep Lamar Jackson in the pocket. This is known as the mush rush, it's a strategy the Patriots use against mobile QBs all the time. Exactly. Looked part of the game plan IMO and exactly why our ends looked like they were not playing as well. Actually they played superb !!
You dont have to win every game just the next one!
