You have trashed Ohio State and the Big 10 for years.

I believe that money drives commentary.

ESPN has the SEC under contract. Fox has the Big 10 under contract. CBS has the SEC under contract.

--Commentary on ESPN is how good the SEC is.

--Commentary on Fox is how good the Big 10 is.

--Commentary on CBS is how the SEC is the best conference.

That is not a false narrative. It's a fact.

Welp, no way Harbaugh makes it back next year. I'm going to miss the annual OSU beatdown of his laughable teams.

I watched college gameday this morning and it was said that Ohio State seems to be the most complete team in college football this season. If the false narrative was being pushed that comment would not be made. They also said LSU should be ranked #1. Why because winning at Texas and home to Florida. No other team has that kind of resume. I think that is fact and not a false narrative.

The SEC will be perceived as the strongest conference all season because of their non conference wins. Not bias. The big ten can get their respect next week when Michigan plays Notre Dame. As I said before respect is earned on the field. They win that game and it make Wisconsin and Penn State's wins over Michigan look that much better. Non Conference is where conference resumes are built.

We disagree on the non-conference thing and "why" the SEC teams get more props from ESPN. I'll leave it at that. A couple of years ago, you were talking the same crap about the SEC and Big 10, and then the postseason games were played and the Big 10 was far more successful. Of course, you and the other Big 10 haters and SEC lovers went silent.

We’ll see how bad Tua’s ankle injury is ... they play LSU in a few weeks

I didn't say anything about OSU not have a good chance. I said Wis losing doesn't help them. I also used works like good and quality when describing the Bucks.

As for Georgia, I don't know what their chances are. I do think SC is a pretty good team by beating Georgia and playing tough against the Gators yesterday.

Georgia's only chance is to win the east, then win the SEC championship. The only team who might get in without winning the SEC are Bama and LSU.

OSU should win the Big 10. That Wis loss doesn't help the Bucks for another reason, Wis is going to be ticked. Should be a fun game to watch. I don't think it will be all that close. Bucks by 12.

uh yeah, no, they're 3-4.

Maybe it's more that Georgia and Florida aren't all that they were cracked up to be.

No doubt, but their pitiful offensive line would probably just get him killed anyway.

The ichigan destruction of ND certainly makes Georgia's victory over ND far less impressive.

Just watched the end of Oregon vs Washington State ... Oregon survived, but I can’t see the PAC12 getting anybody into the playoffs, even if they win out

Yes, TUN's destruction of ND helps the perception of the Big 10 and dulls the shine of the SEC a bit.

That offense was pathetic. They shouldn't be anywhere near the top 10-15 in the rankings if you ask me.

Truth be told, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but if you're going to rank these teams based on what you have seen, and what these teams have done, why on earth is Alabama ahead of Ohio State. They have done nothing to this point.

Even LSU's win over Texas is looking pretty meh right now. They have wins over Florida and Auburn, which ok, but that is still not running any gauntlet.

The way this thing is going, I could see the Big Ten possibly being worthy of sending two teams, but will they? Or will the continuous over-valuing of the SEC just taker over like it usually does?

Right now IMO:

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. LSU
4. Clemson
5. Penn State
6. Georgia

Not sure how it could do both?

At any rate, ND is always over ranked. If they really are good this year, I think it puts a shine on both teams.

I could see that, but it doesn't really matter. As long as you are one of the four, the order doesn't really matter all that much. It's not like the higher seed get to play at home.

I agree, I just think the 4/5 spots are clearly important

I was talking about the final rankings. At this point teams sitting at 8 or 9 have a good shot.

One of LSU or Bama loses this week. Florida and Georgia play each other. The winner will probably go to the SEC Championship game, the loser probably heads to the Outback to square off against the Big 10 2nd or 3rd place team.

OSU still has to play Penn St and Michigan.

Lot's can happen. It all points to the fact they need to expand the playoff formula. I don't like to see a quality 1 loss team not get a shot. In some cases, maybe even a 2 loss team.

What gauntlet has OSU run? Their biggest win is over a team that lost to Illinois.

Lots of football to play (several teams played their way out of the discussion this week) and this will sort itself out in the next few weeks but if I was ranking right now..

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. LSU
4. Penn State
5. Clemson
