Last time I had a traffic warrant and a cop pulled me over...I went to jail.
What's the difference between me and you? I didn't back talk the cop, didn't put up a fuss...so why was I arrested and you were let go?
I know a couple of people who have had traffic warrants and were taken to jail when pulled over. I think he was lucky to get the particular cop that he did.
Often times it depends on the officer but also it depends on the county you are pulled over in.
ie.........If you have a traffic warrant in say Franklin County Ohio, and there is a traffic warrant in Montgomery county, often times if not always, you won't go to jail.
See,they are "not adjoining counties". It's not like the counties are connected. If they were, the place you got pulled over in can meet a deputy at the county line to transfer you over. However, that is totaly up to the county the warrant is issued from as to wheather they wish to put a hold on you over the warrant. Pretty simple thing.
BUT,if you are say two counties away, their jurisdictions do not meet. Therefore it would take a third party to complete the transfer. In most cases they will not go to that much trouble over a traffic warrant.
Sometimes they won't even arrest you in adjoining counties. I'd say Christy got pulled over in the county where the warrant was outstanding, while Rage was pulled over in a county other than where the warrant was issued from. That might help settle the confusion. Or then again maybe not.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
