The turnovers sealed the deal in this one ... and the timely penalties ... and our poor coaching staff.

Two weeks to prepare and that was the product ... that’s a problem.

I thought our OL played well enough to win and our D wasn’t as bad as the score indicated

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I hate to lose.
I hate when we suck.
I hate going for it on 4th and 16.
I hate how we shot ourselves in the foot the minute the game began.
I Love my Browns, always have, always will.
Next week!

we suck.

and whats worse is that we clearly could move the ball. but penalties, turnovers, and just poor execution cost us big time.

two weeks. we had two freaking weeks. and we came out like this.

honestly i dont want to hear a damn thing from anybody if we go on a win streak against these trash ass teams coming up. it doesn't mean anything, since we can't beat good ones. our 1 win against a good team came against the Ravens, who i highly doubt we can beat again.

i really cant comment on the game because......we just suck.

This team will not turn the corner until they stop turning the ball over and stop committing penalties. Discipline won today's game plan and simple. New England had discipline and Cleveland did not.

I thought maybe we show up for this one. Then I thought I had better not watch this game. Then I did... Lesson learned.

I hope the story was true about Kitchens wanting a false start to save a timeout and going for it on 4th and 16 instead of 4th and 11.

That should just about seal his fate.

One positive: our kicking game has been very good

I was going to listen to the radio show after the game, but I think I’ll play solitaire instead.

I thought there were a lot of positives.

Chubb ran well and the OL seemed very good in run blocking especially.

Our D played well overall, the first-quarter turnovers pretty much screwed us. The 3rd-and-10 they got for big yards on the screen pass was a killer.

I'm not discouraged about this loss. We got through the worst of our schedule and now we can maybe go on a run, stack wins together.

We need someone to decide when to throw the challenge flag. Because FK isn't good at those decisions. I don't think he's as smart as an NFL coach should be.

Will the dumb penalties ever stop?

We had a few borderline calls go against us but I'm not blaming the officials.

The biggest bright spot was actually that Baker managed the game and didn't throw it away. His one interception was on the broken up shovel pass that was ruined by Bitonio. If he can play like that, they can win some games.

The defense actually played decent given the fact that the Pats had a big field position advantage.

The O-line had an absolutely horrible game. The Pats do not have a great pass rush, but were easily able to put pressure on Mayfield with 3 or 4 rushers.

Chubb had the worst game of his career.

The Refs had one of their best games of the season by being right on over 25% of the calls.

This is proof off season hype matters nothing when the regular season starts.
The Browns won the off season hype trophy

We don't go for it, then we do after a penalty? How stupid is he?

If he had saved a challenge he could have challenged the call on the Edelman fumble. Which the refs blew dead, when we recovered it.

Honestly I didn’t expect to win this game. Especially after the weather. They had chances. I’m also one not to complain about officiating but a lot of the calls against them the Pats did worse all day without one flag thrown. Literally no flags against them until :58 in the 4th? I know everyone on here is calling for Kitchens head but I still think they need to stay the course. OBJ wants to go? Let him. No impact at all at this point. Most likely a detractor. This team needs to grow. That will mean a lot of garbage along the way. Rolling it over even in the offseason would be a huge mistake IMO. The stat they showed on what BB has done to QBs under 24 is very telling and I thought the offense once settled down made strides.

You mean Freddy "We dont Practice Penalties" had another game with 10+ penalties. Who is responsible for that?? Freddy has to answer for penalties and execution!

The turnovers were not Freddies fault. We moved the ball better on them than anyone else this year and our D played pretty well. The penalties and lack of discipline are on the coaches. Changing coaches now is not a good idea and should come at the end of the season if needed. It's tough watching this team beat itself week after week. Very frustrating.

Good teams first things first limit turnovers and penalties. We are not a good team.

We threw the ball on the first three plays of the game. From the shotgun. In the driving rain. Think about that one for awhile.

- Three offensive snaps, three straight turnovers.

- 50 degrees and pouring rain, Browns start out of the shotgun three straight plays, all passes to open the game

- Penalties continue to plague this team. No discipline.

- Ward played a good game.

- The Patriots looked completely bored playing the Browns after the Browns gave them the game early.

- 3rd and 1, 4th and 1..... No Chubb on the field and Freddie running empty sets.

- Baker with a shovel pass to the Patriots. I was speechless.

- The team is playing with no chemistry and completely uninspired.

- Freddie with two dumb challenges to waste timeouts.

- Tracy Wolfson stated the Browns lined up to punt on 4th and 11 and were told to purposely false start to back them up to 4th and 16. Freddie wanted to go for it, but did not want to burn a timeout. You cannot have a human being this utterly stupid running your football team and expect to accomplish anything of significance.

- Playmakers not making a meaningful impact on the game.

- Higgins missing in action again. He comes in and Baker goes to him right away for completions (one being called back for a ticky tack OPI).

- Since '99 the Browns still cannot stop a screen pass.

- Just an overall embarrassing showing.......again.

Dorsey still has a lot of work to do.
Team still can't get out of it's own way.
Hard to shake losing habits.
Dorsey's biggest mistake was making Kitchens the HC who is learning the job.
Browns playing way below their potential. If they ever put it together look out!
Dorsey built winning teams in GB, KC and will in Cleveland. Do not give up on him.
Keep the faith! GO BROWNS!

One other guy that is being forced to play who’s not ready: Mack Wilson

Kitchens is in over his head. Two weeks for that?

4th an 11 and you bring out the punt team. False Start. 4th and 16 and you bring the offense back out to go for it......that tells you all you need to know about the looney tunes inside Kitchens head.

Is firing him the answer? Maybe not. But keeping him doesn't seem like one either.

Maybe he'll get his [censored] together and by extension, this team.
