I was promised trades and I don't see any trades. Trades! Apparently Dallas and the Jets are close to trading Adams. That's trade. I want trade S!

It’d be nice for Denver to trade Harris and Wolf to the NFC right now
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I'd do a 3rd and a 5th.
Williams is a serious talent at LT. We could still draft a young T who might even plug in on the right side right away.

Per Mort: Browns not dealing anything or anyone

Good. Problem ain’t the players, it’s the damn scheme.

The two teams I understand the least -- Washington and Cincinnati. They are bad bad. They have players that other teams want that will not be on their team next year. They stand pat.

They'll probably trade him in the offseason for a 5th and call it a win.

We can win going forward with this roster and the draft the best LT out there next season ...

You should always be trying to upgrade any position you can in the NFL. The pats are 8-0, and are trying to make deals every day. The oline can be upgraded, we tried and it didn't happen. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try to upgrade it.

Did we trade for a new coach? Yes, but Dorsey's fax was sent 2 minutes after the deadline.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU Washington for playing trade games with Dorsey by holding out! You saved us from ourselves.

So...the Ravens traded for a starting CB and the Steelers traded for a starting FS...and we traded away a bust 2nd Rd pick and a young, cheap, disruptive-at-worst pass rusher for a conditional pick in 2021.
We didn't improve our talent at the deadline...I think we lessened it as Avery is better than Smith/Thomas IMO...and the other contenders in the division each picked up an impact starter to get better.

IMHO, we have an "OBJ problem".
He didn't take part in any of the off-season practices, except for one day of one OTA. He did not play at all in the preseason games, and barely practiced at all. He swore that he knew the playbook, but did he? It has never really appeared that he does.
The team insisted that Baker getting almost no time with OBJ and Jarvis during the preseason was not a problem ..... but I would have to say that this is not the case.

I read ( here )the problem is Kitchen /Baker , Baker /Kitchen .. The board was all in on this Monster "D " we were going to show case ! Wilks and his Vaulted 4/2 and all the talent we had in the front seven... Avery wasn't good enough to even dress !.. Here we are half way through the season and are ranked 27th against the run ? .. I watched Wilks rush three against Brady and play zone several times . only to get burnt . Safety is a sore spot ( can't tackle ) , Wilson should have stayed in School another year ( not start in the NFL ) and Schobert is the most over rated Linebaker in the annuals of Football ( unless tackles 4 and 5 yards down field count as supper ) Wonder how they will perform against teams playing under 500 ball..
There ; got it off my chest !

Still hanging on to Sashi I see.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The team insisted that Baker getting almost no time with OBJ and Jarvis during the preseason was not a problem ..... but I would have to say that this is not the case. Definitely part of the problem. Also, during the week leading up to game one, Baker professed as much. Asked about missing OBJ throughout camp he said. "Definitely not an ideal situation, it will take time." He was candid and seemed concerned, I was surprised and wondered if the media would blow it up. Just one in a laundry list of things we, and seemingly the team, seemed to brush off as insignificant. Looking back, it seems like we were more concerned than they were.
HERE WE GO BROWNIES! HERE WE GO!!
