Chad Thomas sucks lol (I really don’t know, but he hasn’t done much from my estimation)

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Thomas has been one the worst DE in all of football this year. Man wish we had a guy like Avery..oh wait...

Yes, but Freddie knows there's a cape, a mask and a phone both somewhere that will change all of that. Do they even still have phone booths?

I guess it's a bad sign that he has been getting about 23% of our snaps and I don't remember hearing his name all that often.

Good thing we cut Ogbah and Nassib because of their cheaper rookie contracts and overall better production.

And yeah, Avery could have been an option on Sunday too.

It doesn't matter.
You could put a young Reggie White in there and the minute he put on a Cleveland Browns uniform he would suck balls. It's just the way things are.

Seems they forgot to mention Higgins has potentially been ruled out due to a chronic coaching stupidity issue.

I'd like to see Sione Takitaki and Joe Schobert on the edge rushing the passer.

That will not happen.

I'd like to Avery rushing the passer, Duke running and catching the ball, and Zeitler blocking for Baker.

Interesting article in The Athletic for anyone who subscribes.

Higgins sprained his MCL in week 1. He's been out due to this injury. When he was ready to play and the team needed him against Seattle, Higgins refused to go into the game.

That's where we're at.

Guess we will see what Chad Thomas can do. I'm worried more about the run edge than passing edge.

Hope to see more of 99 out there.

But Reggie White played his career on two different, other teams, so he would be a free agent pick up. (and you'd have a point)

It's not the same if you talk about "original Browns" who started their NFL career here and played well. (For them you don't have a point)

Callaway being out is interesting. If Higgins can’t get on the field today then it is hopeless to think he’ll ever contribute.

yeah, if he isn’t targeted much today it doesn’t bode well

The guys on 92.3's pre-game show just said Callaway was a healthy scratch today. Wonder how he screwed up this time?

IS Teller still starting at RG? I was hoping OT Lamm would be back by now.

Odd to see T. Taylor the wideout Dorsey trade for, always end up inactive.

There's only 16 of these games - being inactive by coach's decision would be a pretty harsh penalty for being late to a meeting. You could just fine him for that, or make him run laps at practice. I'd guess its something more than mere tardiness, given his history.

Agreed, why would you ever trade one of the games best Guards for a marginal defensive guy?

because we thought Corbett could step up and be more cost efficient .. and clearly that was a joke

Remember when our FO bragged about how good Chad Thomas can set the edge...time to laugh at that today...

I'm a U guy, and thought RJ McIntosh was the better player (he went two rounds later, and so far has indeed been the better player...slightly)

Chad thomas needs to man up today.

Thomas and Corbett are among the bigger busts we’ve had in the top few rounds

That is odd. Looked to me like we still need some tackle upgradeS. I think if we had a hole puncher, this backfield would rock!

I thought it was intimated that it was with Dorsey? I mean, of course I know our history, but I was talking the last couple drafts

he didn't have that bad of a game last night either.
