Nothing has been fair or just in these hearings so far, why do you think 3 pro impeachment experts and 1 anti impeachment expert will make any difference? I don't think any one of these hearing should be the end all be all. I do think the GOPers should get their witnesses but they need to stick to actual facts, not conspiracy theories that have been rejected by investigations on both sides of the aisle. It's pretty simple.
I am nothing more than a citizen who listened to the facts and separated them from the conjecture, read the phone conversation transcript/memorandum and heard what the President of Ukraine had to say about the phone call from President Trump.
My final observation is this is a Trump hater fest nothingburger.
No crime, no victim.

No crime, no victim. This is obvious but don't we owe the country and constitution the time to hear this out since half the country disagrees with your view as of now? Dems will impeach and it will be up to the Senate to make this fair to all. I hope that's what they do, regardless of outcome. But if they just continue this party line divide without due process and unraveling the facts from the fictions; then nothing will get better, regardless of outcome.

Every step of this process has been by the book.... the book that was written by Republicans during the impeachment proceedings of William Jerfferson Clinton, back in the 90's. The rules in the house are what they are... this is just like the grand jury in any other indictment, one sided. But I do hope the Senate trial includes all the facts and discovery required to put the issue to bed once and for all. I don't care to watch republicans drag us down conspiracy rabbit holes, but I want their legitimate concerns met with the same vigor dems have displayed in bringing the charges. Anything less will mean nothing.
I also want the Senate gop to address dems concerns the same, for the same reasons. Trump will more than likely survive this if the partisanship continues to play out but even with re-election win, this won't be over.

Michael Gerhardt, a professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law, said if President Trump's actions with Ukraine are not impeachable, then nothing is.
He expressed concerns that if Congress gives the President a pass, it would lead to an erosion of boundaries.
"I just want to stress that if what we're talking about is not impeachable, then nothing is impeachable. This is precisely the misconduct that the framers created a Constitution including impeachment to protect against. And if there's no action, if Congress concludes they're going to give a pass to the President here, as Professor Karlan suggested earlier, every other president will say, okay, then I can do the same thing and the boundaries will just evaporate," Gerhardt said.
Gerhardt continued: "And those boundaries are set up by the Constitution and we may be witnessing, unfortunately, their erosion. And that is a danger to all of us."

I would hope as an American you could put away your red badge and do what is right.
As a true American I fought you on the false charges of Russian Collusion and justice prevailed. I fought you when you used false accusations by sketchy witnesses during the Kavanaugh hearings. Justice prevailed. I am fighting you on this impeachment debacle as you call second and third hand witnesses to testify to what they believe they found. You transform hearsay into fact at every turn. A court of law would throw out this entire Kangaroo Court and its findings. I trust the American system of Due Process will once again shine light on the truth and justice will prevail again. And if this were a court of law, the defendant would not be able to block the key witnesses from testifying

I was really hoping for some bi-partisan commentary today.
One person worked for Clinton, another for Obama DOJ, another wrote a NYTimes piece about impeaching Trump in 2017. I would have really enjoyed a little more substance. Instead we are expected to take what this person says as fair commentary and counsel?
She can hate Trump like many people do, but I wish these types of people would not be considered legitimate voices of reason and temper in this type of hearing. Sadly, Republicans would go this route as well.

Nothing has been fair or just in these hearings so far, You're right. Trump has blocked every witness who has a first hand account of what went down and refused to hand over any documents. When you break the law using obstruction to derail a legal impeachment process, it leaves room for parrots to say a lot and not say anything at the same time. Let's see you get a subpoena and ignore it. But you somehow think Trump and his cronies are above the law.
