That would be true if you actually think the 49'ers D and the Saints D are ranked about the same.
We play in the AFC North. How you play against the cream of NFL D's makes a difference here. But let's just forget all of that to try and make a point that doesn't exist. Playing against a team like the 49'ers is the gold standard of if you can prepare and make adjustments against a top ten NFL rated defense.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Don't know, but, sounds to me like Stefanski has about 1/10th the experience of Brian Daboll,
it's official, the Haslams aren't good interviewers.

I wish people would chill out, I mean give the guy a chance, he was a Hot HC prospect for what 3 years now? Minnesota has been pretty good under his time there, and we have better RB's, Better WR's and a Better QB, so just give it time it can't be worse than Freddie can it, I don't think so. I believe he will be the HC and bring in an OC that will actually run the offense. I have no other choice than to give him time and hope this works, I'm 63 and can't go anywhere else, I'm a BROWNS Fan now and forever, so come on Stefanski, prove all these negative Nellie's wrong and bring a winner to us Cleveland Fans ... GO BROWNS!!!

The dude made Case Keemun look good. He makes the best of what’s he’s given.
At least we won’t see a whole season of the damn Air Raid trying to get installed. I’m sure he’ll base our offense around Chubb.

Agreed. Can't we give it a chance? Stefanski seems to be well thought of from what I've heard and read. Let's get behind him and give this a chance.

I don’t even care. This organization is so dysfunctional that I have no hope they can get it right. This.

Amen, Pastor. I'm no blind homer. Not declaring him the answer. But people need to calm the Hell down.
If you're convinced it'll never be fixed then stop wasting your time and get out!
Good luck, Stefanski. Hope you can block out the hate.

We've been saying that for 20 years, when has it ever panned out? I could care less about the hire. I hope he wins, but if he doesn't, Haslam will fire him after a year.

I not only think it'll turn out worse then Freddie, I think it'd be worse than if Chudzinski were kept around all this time, and by this time would have a little figured out, and would be worse than if Shurmur had stayed around all this time and would have something figured out, But, Don't get me wrong, I don't advocate waiting 12 years to see if Stefanski would learn anything, you have candidates who have been head coaches or coordinators, for several years, (more than 10 years) And you decide on a guy who has 1 year as a coordinator, and before, was a position coach, for a short time??? Al Saunders would be a better fit! (Today!) Do we really have to wait a full year, to see how bad this "garbage" show will turn out! I Can't expresseddd believe it! I need to take a time out!

Agreed. That is something we won't know until he's been with the team for awhile. Considering Haslam's track record of being a microwave owner, "If things don't turn around in one season, change everything!". How long do you consider "a while"? Because what you think "a while means" may never come.

If the guy can't lead or command respect it will have no chance. Probably not. Quit acting like a little kid who didn't get a candy bar at the store. Maybe wait and see what happens. Quit acting like you know. You don't.

I mean, if we can open our eyes, and see, it's like deciding to build the freedom tower at ground zero of the World Trade Center disaster, And you see "Two men and a truck" has been given the contract, but: "wait and see" We've seen this stuff since 1999.

I hope there are no lengths of rope laying around your home... Is that rope going to perform a magic trick wherein the Browns somehow get a qualified, experienced and competitive head coach?? Because guess what! They've got someone who wouldn't even be as qualified and experienced as most of the last several coordinators they've had since 2011. We don't have to know how this turns out! We saw it twice, With Chud and Shurmur.

Nah, they're all nuts! He's a turdball who couldn't wipe his own rear and would need radar to find that! Totally incapable of anything but standing on the sideline drooling all over himself whilst pining for Gary Kubiak who has some mystic control over his mind.

I think it's important to note that the offense that Stefanski in Minnesota last year (2019) is the same offense that the 49ers run. It's an extensive coaching tree and we should be able to find some highly qualified coaches on offense.

Quit acting like a little kid who didn't get a candy bar at the store. Is that how you describe our Browns fan experience of watching the revolving door in the FO and HC positions over the past 20 years? Come on Peen, I'm going to support Stefanski, but you really need to stop acting like fans don't have a legitimate reason to be skeptical at this point. At this point I'm not so sure which kid is acting worse. The one who didn't get his candy bar or the one that did get his candy bar making fun of the kid next to him that didn't get one.

We don’t know if stefanski is gonna be a good HC or a flop. We don’t know if JM was gonna take us to the SB. But to me, the smart hire was JM with his resume. And just as always, ownership does the opposite as they feel they are the smartest guys in the NfL.
I’ll root for the guy, but I am underwhelmed

So what happens if he only wins 6 games next season? He’s getting fired?
