Just listen to Jim Jordan double talk his way through and interview on NPR about the impeachment.basically if you're not following closely everything he said might have made sense, but the reality is there were half truths and misdirection all the way through everything he said. Even when he was asked if the president should be allowed to ask a foreign leader to investigate a political rival, there was a fast-talking response that deflected from the question. The Republicans are all on the same page and spewing the same garbage.

He also said he never heard directly from President Trump that he wanted quid pro quo linking military aid to Ukraine. That he just felt they all understood that. Again, not really first hand knowledge.

Here is a fun fact. NO MATTER how this impeachment turns out, Trump will be damaged goods in the eyes of 70% of Americans. That's how many believe the case enough to want more docs and witnesses. If the GOP denies those things it looks bad on Trump. If the GOP allows those things, it will look very very bad on Trump. How do I know? Why would you block evidence that exonerates you? You wouldn't. It will all make him look guilty, period. And during that America and the world will be watching.
