Depending on where you're located, most places don't have the capacity to test, yet.
I'm surprised that with flu symptoms and presenting with respiratory issues that they wouldn't test, anyway, just for good measure. Maybe there was some other symptom precluding that? I hadn't had a fever, that I knew of. I was getting chills at sweats at night, but only checked 2X for it. Maybe that's why. I live in Ohio, but I went to a WV MedExpress.

Italy death toll rises by 93 overnight to 463, and total confirmed cases is over 9,000 (an increase of 1,800).
The WHO is still not ready to call it a pandemic, but says the threat is very real:
"Now that the virus has a foothold in so many countries, the threat of a pandemic has become very real," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general, told a news conference.

Bootleg booze kills 27 in Iran after virus 'cure' rumours
Twenty-seven people have died from methanol poisoning in Iran after rumours that drinking alcohol can help cure the novel coronavirus infection, state news agency IRNA reported.
A spokesman for Jundishapur medical university in Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan, said 218 people had been hospitalised there after being poisoned. The poisonings were caused by "rumours that drinking alcohol can be effective in treating coronavirus," Ali Ehsanpour said.
Drinking alcohol is banned in Iran for everyone except some non-Muslim religious minorities.

JC Just a heads up for anyone planning to travel by air, I can't speak for all airlines (I fly Southwest), but prices are being slashed to the bone. Already had flights booked for Easter, dropped by 40%, called and got a credit. Booking flights for our trip in May - STL to CLE - $49 each way, non-stop. Bottom line, if you already have a flight booked, check current prices and call for a credit.

Most likely, nothing specific, yet.
It is my understanding that the governors have been doing this by wrote as a means of giving more rapid access to money/funding/equipment/resources. Without it, they are still bound to go through normal channels for things, whereas with it they can expedite orders.

Odd that we haven't seen updated numbers for France or Germany, yet, today.

Two members of US Congress go into isolation over virus
Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Arizona Representative Paul Gosar have placed themselves into a 14-day quarantine after determining they had contact with a man attending the Conservative Political Action Conference, who was later confirmed to have the coronavirus.
Several other senators and members of the House of Representatives were also at the event, where US President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence both spoke.
The White House says there is no indication that either of them met or were in "close proximity" to the man who was confirmed to have the virus.

I saw this morning that ship is docking Oakland.
All California residents on the ship are being taken to a federal facility in California. The others are also being taken to federal facilities; presumably in their home states (which is just kinda weird). Well well well, 8 or 9 couples from here are/were on that ship. The Grand Princess. 1 of the couples live about a half mile from me.
