Opening day in mid April at best

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Dr. Amy Acton said 70% of the population will be infected and then walked off the stage. I wasn't even sure I heard her right at first....

Italy is over 15,000 cases and over 1,000 deaths.
More than 2,600 new cases and 189 deaths (23%) in the last 24 hours. They have roughly 1,100 in intensive care.

The Philippines have put the capital of Manila on lockdown.

37 deaths and ~820 new cases in Spain.... they seem to be running about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks behind Italy.

I'm still waiting for Johns Hopkins to update, but it looks like we're knocking on the door of 130,000 cases, now

If we had that many already, I would expect that we'd be seeing a LOT more than just the 5 confirmed cases that we have so far.

I want to know how they got that number and how it relates to what we're seeing.

An official of the CAA tournament was just diagnosed

For those who don't know, Love is giving $100,000 to the team's arena and support staff.

I hope that other high end players will do the same. I would guess from a picture of Love with support type people that this group is at least 200 people. $100K divided by 200 is $500 per person. Dan Gilbert has said that he will pay arena and office personnel as if they were still playing, but I haven't seen any like announcement from other teams.

Yeah, Cuban said he is paying all of them for the next 4 previously scheduled games and then will re-evaluate. He is also working w/the small businesses who might not be able to w/stand losing the revenue that the games provide. Working as a community.

Johns Hopkins in Baltimore created a tracker for COVID-19 cases. This site has one stat you will never see in the media, # of recovered patients.

Italy death toll just topped 1K

People can talk about averages and death rates all they want, when that many people die, people are rightfully afraid.

It looks like Special Olympics track and field events will be canceled, including the Regional Meet that takes place in early May at Bedford High School. This will affect hundreds of athletes in Cuyahoga, Lake, Summit, Geauga and Lorain counties.

This tracker was operational in mid January and I have seen it on many articles and media outlets. And it has had recovered cases since I first saw it

2 friends of my daughter who are in premed at OSU were at the house tonight and said they have one week to get everything off of campus. They wanted to drive down tomorrow and stay in their room and move out Saturday and were told no-can’t stay on campus for any length of time, even one night.

I still don’t understand the TP thing, was at 3 stores tonight not to buy TP bit they were all out, but they still had food, wife said if they don’t have food to eat they won’t need TP.

Thank goodness wife is asian and we eat rice, we have enough for at least 6 months or longer.

If anyone is interested amazon still has alot of canned meat, will make great fried rice.

The tracker has not updated properly today, at all.

It has not recorded any new data for most of the harder hit areas.
By other reports, Italy is over 15,000 cases now, but the tracker is still showing yesterday's 12.4k number. Ditto for Iran's numbers, and I'm pretty sure, France, Spain, and Germany.

Just a guess, but they are the hardest hit besides China, and I think their facilities are overrun. Also, they are further down the timeline than a lot of other countries, and have more people with symptoms. They expect a lot of other countries to catch up in terms of the percentage of people infected.

Since Ohio's Governor declared a S.O.E. and banned public gatherings of >100 people, My Job is closing down for the rest of the month. We've been rehearsing all week for a Masterworks Concert- the crown jewel in our menu of musical offerings.

This is what you would see, if you walked into My House before other
guests arrived:

This is what I see, when we are at rehearsal:

Pic #2 is what we playaz will see tonight.
On a concert night.

Bizarre AF, yo.

Our orchestra maxes out at about 70 people for this particular joint, so we can gather onstage for music-making, but we can't perform before a live audience.

So here's what's gonna happen:

My Bunch will carry on as if COVID-19 isn't really a thing.
We will don our full formal black gowns/tailcoats/white tie... and perform an entire concert- to a vacant concert hall.

toledosymphony.com

It's being pushed forward as a thank you to our subscribers and tix buyers. All other performances for the entire month of March have been cancelled.

We will perform onstage as if there exists a live audience. Cameras will be stationed in the house and onstage to support the musical narrative.

It will be so weird to play a concert with zero faces/zero applause.

_________________

Today, we rehearsed the (new) performance protocol (for our digital audience): when to stand/accept (virtual) applause, when/how to tune, what will happen differently than a conventional gig, etc.

If you are of the curious sort, and want to experience a Symphony Orchestra concert in a drippingly gorgeous concert hall, without:

1. paying for a ticket
2. paying extra for a valet to park your Lexus/Bentley/Yugo
3. leaving your own f'ing house to see a concert tens/hundreds/thousands of miles away...

...then you're in luck.

You can hook up w/us this Friday night, 8PM, at toledosymphony.com

Beautiful, soulful music is the entire night.

If you can't make the date, you'll have 30 days to find/become infatuated with/repeatedly make love to us by finding our 3/13/2020 performance at our Youube channel. .

Those numbers are still jacked up. China 80,942 infected, 3,179 dead, 64,184 recovered. That leaves 13,579 people either missing or still fighting the virus?

Been super busy last few days; took a break to look at the tracker and thought something was amiss.
Are you still using another site. I thought you mentioned Al-Jazeera had one. I looked once or twice but didn’t find
