A time is coming when there are plenty of respirators, masks, hand sanitizers. To late for lots of folks already bro. American blood is on trump’s hand over this already. His watch. ”The Trump Virus”. TTV-2020

My portfolio is back to it's December 12th 2019 level - it had a meteoric rise of 25% to a peak at Feb 19th this year - and the bottom was March 16th. Since the 3/16 I've seen a bounce of 24% ... all without any buy/sell action. Today I sold some stocks and have reinvested in what I think are some of the better quality stocks I already own .... I'm staying clear of the airlines and cruise-lines and anything 'virus' related because I simply don't know where the bottom is and what might shock us still. Instead sticking to quality companies and long term view regardless of current situation.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

The President is Leading.
He is showing us a light exists at the end of this tunnel.
He may not be able to stick to his Easter goal but it offers hope.
It also serves to tell us we can not shut down this Nation to the point it dies because there are future generations of Americans who are counting on us to save her.
Less you forget "I take no responsibility." No, we could tolerate his crap when everything was going along smoothly, but now that people are dying some sanity from the President would be nice. He is obviously more concerned about the economy than people.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

You haters just love to take what he says out of context.
He is not responsible as he has turned the call over to the States and their Governors to make the call for their area.
Who knows better than State and Local officials as to what is going on in their area?
Trump leads from the top. He makes sure supplies and Federal money is flowing to those officials.

All presidents before trump had no issue with taking responsibility for their flaws during their watch. Besides it’s the GOP who’s holding it up now.... lol too much unemployment is being given to the unemployed. Pffft. And if you take some time and research the bill the vast majority of the money is passing thru the pentagon. You know GOP’er Crap. And just now the pentagon is putting a 60 day hold on all deployments. So our military is hurting big time. A weaker America is trumps fault.

Your rite i will be but when this thing is finally over im still gonna adhere to the 6 foot rule from the libs lol The inclusion in the Senate bill follows an outcry from conservatives over a host of provisions in the House Democrats' coronavirus proposal earlier this week, which critics said addressed liberal priorities rather than the coronavirus pandemic. The appropriations text, released Wednesday along with the draft bill itself, includes $25 million in funding for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. That is down from the $35 million that was included in the recent Democratic-proposed House legislation. The Senate bill also provides $75 million to each the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. That is down from the $300 million for each that was in the House stimulus bill. Then they pretend to care more about Americans than their Agenda.

Down the Market goes. PUHlease! Bernie only reacted to the three republicans worried small people might get a smidge more money than they get paid at work. Bernie said enough is enough, shut up or I'll hold the whole thing up for more of the progressive agenda. You don't get to put the stock market volatility on Bernie.

The three senators that I heard about were holding them up and one even went on tv to talk about it were repubs who were not going to vote for it until they changed language that some of the poorest people actually would make out better better with the extra 600 dollars a week from the feds. Now we can't have that.

Maybe but that doesn't predict how the Markets will react. There is hope again of a brighter future. Many of my toe dipping buys are up 100 percent and that was my goal. Today I sell half of all of them.

Profits in the bank so now I watch and look to dip them toes again.
The next hammer to drop on the Markets will be earnings reports. Investors handled the crazy unemployment numbers well as the government addresses the workers and survival of companies. Earnings will hit the bottom line of how much companies have suffered.
They may not handle that well at all.

Yes, its a first in my lifetime.
Selling half of those stocks yesterday gave me cash to toe dip in the future.
I day trade a lot and this Market is prime for me.
Most people should be toe dipping for future years, a little at a time, when we will most likely be twice as high as today. Buy and Hold.
Market head fakes are common during a bear market so keep emotions out of it and buy at good, low prices.
Also keep in mind that at any time a company can announce they have developed an anti-viral med. What do you think the Markets will do on that news?

Even though it appears the cruise lines may be left out of this bill as stated, it doesn't mean that things are totally over. When asked about the cruise industry issue at a press conference on Thursday, March 26, President Donald Trump indicated he would like to help, saying, "We'll work very hard to help the cruise lines." However, he also said it's "very tough to make a loan to a company when they're based in a different country."
According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump expressed interest in having the cruise lines incorporate in the United States. Reading the tea leaves, it appears that federal authorities may try to compel the cruise operators to incorporate in the United States in order to receive federal aid during the coronavirus breakout, though no one has stated that explicitly. They should go to their banana republic banks for relief. These Cruise ships are floating death traps. They have no laws at sea and people fall overboard at an alarming rate. If they really wanted to help at all they would have turned a few of them into hospital ships by now.

I took 100 of my sons savings and bought him 10 shares of carnival - it was i think the other day priced at about 9.80 a share.
Over the last couple days its up a bit. I think over the nexy month or two though, its really going to jump. I have a feeling that they are going to get a big chunk of change from the government.
Yesterday, someone asked trump "why they would get tax payer money since they fly under a different flag". Normally, trump would be "america first" and "they aint getting a dime" - but he made excuses for giving them money. That kinda tipped that off for me.
Also, people have been cramped up in their houses for two weeks now, once this is over come may-june and we are out and about, people are going to want to vacation i think.
I can see this as a quick buy sell option. Im going to invest more as soon as i can. I am waiting for a transfer to hit my trading account to purchase more.
