Cavs are doing it, Indians as well. Let's go Brownies! Had to put that in there.

Kenny is going to be a Legend if he can keep this up and we end up winning the World Series. WOOOOHOOOOO ... I'm just about hoarse, and my neighbors are probably getting fitted for sound-proof windows.

i think he's borderline, but a deep run into october, with the way he's swinging the bat, could sway some voters...
i don't think a lot of national people realize how important he was to those 90's teams, and how important he is becoming to this current young team in the post-season...
i know hafner got the credit for the hit, and kenny had a huge night, and sizmore got that huge tying run
BUT
we cannot forget the performance fausto put on tonight, on that stage, against that offense? he was remarkable... and the way he finished off his night by making a-rod swing at a bad pitch...
angels up right now, a win by them would be awesome, i'd love to see that series dragged out...

Absolutely. Take out one mistake, and he has a two hit shut-out. His pitching was amazing tonight.

i know a lot of people will blame the bugs... but fausto had absolutely no problem pitching with those same bugs in his face... he didn't let it bother him, chamberlain did...
i don't want another one of these games on sunday, i want to see this lineup tear into roger clemens and end his career with him being yanked...

Oh my God! My hands are shaking, my voice is gone. I honestly thought I might have a heart attack around the 9th inning... Wow, up 2-0 going back to NYC.
This was my dream scenario. We head to NYC up 2-0, A-Rod has been hitless so the media circus there will be in full force. Good times... good times...

eric wedge managed a hell of a game...
every one of the bunts our guys laid down today was perfect...
i remember killing wedge early in the year for not bunting when the time called for it, and when they did bunt, they were doing a horrible job...

Which plays even more into the dream scenario where NY fans turn on A-Rod again, he opts out early, signs with a NL team and I can root for him to catch and pass Bonds without feeling dirty about it. Its all coming together perfectly!

Lot's of great single-handed performances, but if they make as many of the same kinds of silly, stupid mistakes as they did tonite against either the Sox or the Angels you can just kiss our ass goodbye.
I feel lucky that the Tribe won this evening, but I only say that because they blew so many opportunities to have won it early, in deference to the Yankees, who never deserved to even sniff a win tonite except for Pettite.
I think Torre pulled him too early, even though it worked out with Joba initially,...then where he really dorked it up was not leaving Rivera out there for another innning. I don't care what they say about the book, if you don't win TONITE, you have no chance of winning tomorrow.
Wedgie blew Torre away this evening.

I was hoping that got mentioned. I've been critical of Wedgie in the past but he recognized early that the bats weren't there like they were last night and did everything he could do (short of going out and getting a hit himself) to get this team some runs... the hits just weren't coming.. not even the one by Hafner which darn near took the first basemans head off.

My Dad passed away in June and he was a big Indians fan. I have flowers that were on his casket, dried and sitting on my fireplace. Bottom of the 7th, I touch the flowers and then place my hand on my heart. I asked Pops to ask The Lord to help us win tonite. The bugs come in the 8th. I've been watching most of the sports channels on Direct TV after the game and everyone has said that they have never seen anything like this bug infestation that showed up and flustered Joba. I just looked to the Heavens and thanked The Lord and Pops for hearing me...

I haven't chimed in much since the beginning of this series. I was at the game last night and it was awesome and too hammered to post. Tonight I was at the bar and it was a great game. Last night I saw someone with a shirt that said it all..... "Jesus Hates The Yankees" After I saw the bugs come in, I think its true. WTG TRIBE.... (Poor old Reds)
