Wednesday on “MSNBC Live,” Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) sounded off on former Vice President Joe Biden, who she supports in the 2020 presidential election, being accused of sexual assault by his former staff member Tara Reade.

Titus, who said she is a “strong supporter of the MeToo movement,” pointed out the accusations against Biden has been “put to rest” because “he went on TV” this week and denied it “unequivocally” while speaking with MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski.

“Well, I’m a strong supporter of the MeToo movement, have been from the beginning and I believe women should be believed and I believe they should be heard,” advised Titus. “And their stories should be vetted. They shouldn’t be afraid to come forward, but Joe Biden went on TV, he answered the question unequivocally. He didn’t say, ‘In my memory,’ or. ‘I don’t recall.’ He said, ‘I didn’t do it.’ It’s been vetted. He called on the secretary of the Senate to release any information. I think it’s put to rest.”

Titus’ remarks echo what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told CNN this week.

“I’m a big, strong supporter of the MeToo movement,” Pelosi stated. “I think it has … made a great contribution to our country. And I do support Joe Biden. I’m satisfied with how he has responded.

Metoo movement or not, I have a hard time understanding a 25-30 year old allegation that would be a misdemeanor charge at the time of incident.

Reade never offered up the "penetration" element of her story until very recently. That is questionable as well.

All I know is this allegation alone is hurting Biden and we haven't even got to the Hunter Biden China stuff yet. The DNC and centrists corporatists fools have all but guaranteed Trump an easy path; but Trump with COVID, the economy and the stupid stuff he says and does I'm sure he is going to lose... .

And sadly Bernie couldn't even compete with him. Stop whining.

I don't like centrist candidates on the left. I don't like centrist politics on the left. I have little choice but to vote the dem ticket if I want Trump gone. So here over this barrel is where I am at. I don't need to like Biden because there will be a dem ticket with or without him.

If he is guilty of what Reade accused him of he should not be elected, just like Trump should not have been. BUT centrist and #MeToo have changed their spots for Biden, I'm not calling him guilty but I do want it investigated and heavily scrutinized before November.

I also think he is possibly unfit due to mental capacity. He seems to appear early in the day on interviews and makes gaffs, looks bad, or hides away later in the day... classic signs of sundowners dementia. That is not an attack but honest concern to who the hell we are electing.

The dems can and most likely will replace him IMHO. The donors are already growing uneasy with him. There would be no talk of replacing him with Cuomo if this were not the case. He is currently being given the opportunity to rise but so far is bombing.

This clip and many others were out in early March before the establishment centrists made their frantic push to coalesce around Biden as their candidate. They knew damn good and well that he was not firing on all cylinders and are attempting to limit his exposure to keep from confirming this.

I don't agree with Biden on everything, I'm not sure if he is guilty of allegations against him or not, I've seen signs of his decline with my own eyes, BUT I do respect his service to our country and think his corpse would be a better POTUS than Trump, even if only slightly.

As I have said before. I wonder who he will pick to be his vice Presidential candidate.

If a pro football player said half the stuff that Biden has, he'd be taken removed from team activities and evaluated for head injury.

IF he picks a woman to be his vice president running candidate just because she's a woman to pander doesn't that bother anyone else? Shouldn't he pick the person most capable for the job regardless of their gender?

I agree with this to the degree that he should have not announced that early on before the vetting process. Obviously I think Bernie makes the most sense for the November election, but I have no issue with him picking a woman. There are several women I hope he does not pick, but there are also several more than qualified. Personally I'd like to see him pick Katie Porter, but that's a very long shot.

I would not be a fan of Abrams, Warren, Turner, Klobuchar, or any republican which he also suggested he may do. Clinton would be a repulsive selection IMHO, and M. Obama, who I like, would be truly pandering. But there are many many qualified women to pick from that I would easily support.
