Things are getting very hostile in many cities
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Lately we've had "running while black" turn into a murder, "doing your job while black" to get the police called on you, and now we have "reporting while black".
Back in Sanford, Florida we had "walking home with a hoodie on in a rainstorm while black" lead to a murder.
This country is messed up.

This reinforces my earlier post about the death being the result of positional asphyxia. Those jerks were forcing their weight on his diaphragm. They are trained not to do that. Every one that put pressure on the man's back is responsible for his death. Not just the guy with the knee on his neck.

There needs to be a significant response to this.
*The cop with the knee gets 2nd degree murder. Life in prison. *The remaining 3 get manslaughter. 20 years in prison. *The Chief of Police gets fired. *The Superintendent of the Minneapolis Police Academy gets fired.. *The Police training program gets taken over by the Feds. *The officer that made the decision to arrest the CNN Crew gets fired. I understand the emotion, but I don't believe it amounts to 2nd degree murder. It could be, but you would have to prove it. A hard threshold. Those are usually a murder of rage. It wasn't planned, but intended in the moment. I don't know that he had intent, nor do you. That will be decided in court. Any way you cut it, he is going away for something, as he should.

It's hard to show he intended to cause death in a fit of rage. Especially against a cop. They are put in to bad situations on a regular basis.

They also flew a drone earlier today. The same type of drone that takes out terrorists in the middle east. Source It's probably the only kind of drones the military has. Why would you want something else the Marines and Army operate? I doubt it was armed. Those can stay in the air a long time. They aren't like the drones you and I can buy down at the hobby shop. It was probably there to monitor crowd movement to alert authorities where the crowd was moving in a effort to stay a step ahead. I really wish people would stand down. People are going to get killed if they don't. National Guard troops don't back down and don't screw around. The point has been made and I think 98% of the public is infuriated and saddened by what this cop has done. He isn't going to get a wrist slap. He is going to get the whole book thrown at him. It may not be enough for some people, but we are a nation of laws. You get what the law calls for, not emotion. Those laws may not seem just in a situation like this, but those same laws protect you, I, and all of us from emotional decree. We don't want to go there.

I guess I am an obsolete type American . What I have witnessed over the last couple of nights makes me sick to my stomach. The lack of control by local govt. agency's is disgusting .. Let them vent and burn and loot citys is idiocy .. I would hate to be a business owner in Minneapolis .. what is happening does nothing to imporve race relations in the country.

The military has a ton of different drones. They have drones specifically used for recon/surveillance and nothing else.
They should not be flying drones with weapon capabilities over their own citizens.

what is happening does nothing to improve race relations in the country. I agree, I'm sure being a Cop it gets frustrating dealing with criminals thugs and stupid people on a daily basis and tempers build up. No excuse what that cop did , he got caught and he will have his day in court. The riots don't do any good for no one , destroying your own community isn't the answer. People need to pull their pants up to where they belong and stop showing their ass cracks for all to see. People need to stop walking around calling each other the " N " word like it's a good word to use. People need to start showing respect for each other and start saying kind words to each other. Having hate for someone because of skin color is so stupid I can't stand it. Love and respect yourself, so others can love and respect you back. It's really easy to give a damn.

I think at this point it’s pretty obvious that these are more than just protests ... these have turned into opportunistic evil groups taking advantage of the situation.
I think it’s sad that the death and HORRIFIC murder of an individual is being used this way now

I think at this point it’s pretty obvious that these are more than just protests ... these have turned into opportunistic evil groups taking advantage of the situation. Walz: White supremacist groups, drug cartels suspected at Minneapolis riots, but reports still unconfirmedMINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz says he suspects white supremacist groups and drug cartels are carrying out some of the violence in Minneapolis, but cannot confirm it at this time. Both Walz and Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington said at a press conference early Saturday morning they have do not have confirmed reports, but they have gotten intel from national sources that it is the case. Walz said the widespread riots across the country appear to be part of a coordinated effort by professionals. “We’re seeing evidence of some pretty sophisticated attempts to cause problems,” the governor said. Walz said he is in contact with President Donald Trump regarding the situation. Harrington said that while they have gotten reports of drug cartels “redirecting their sources to restore their drug markets” in the area amid the unrest, but that is a “secondary or tertiary concern as we’re trying to deal with right now life and death situations on the street.” A fourth night of protests and riots over the death of George Floyd broke out in Minneapolis Friday night, despite an 8 p.m. curfew order and the deployment of the National Guard to the area. https://www.fox9.com/news/walz-white-sup...ill-unconfirmed

If you watch the videos of the people inciting the riots ... it’s pretty clear this is a sophisticated, organized effort.

No doubt and you have Trump adding the fuel. First, when the looting starts, the shooting starts, to now.... Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump ....got too frisky or out of line, they would quickly come down on them, hard - didn’t know what hit them. The front line was replaced with fresh agents, like magic. Big crowd, professionally organized, but nobody came close to breaching the fence. If they had they would.... Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump ....have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen. That’s when people would have been really badly hurt, at least. Many Secret Service agents just waiting for action. “We put the young ones on the front line, sir, they love it, and.... Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump The professionally managed so-called “protesters” at the White House had little to do with the memory of George Floyd. They were just there to cause trouble. The @SecretService handled them easily. Tonight, I understand, is MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE??? https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1266724553620930561 https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1266711221836931072 https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1266711223657205763

Yea. I’m over the top angry too. Your fellow Americans are being systematically oppressed and murdered and all you care about is the response, not the cause.

Then what do you call it? What do you call burning down buildings? What do you call vandalism? What do you call looting?
Does a black man being killed by a police officer entitle you to a new big screen TV and a pair of Nikes? They have also destroyed the businesses of other blacks. How is that anything close to calling for equality?
It's not. And don't fool yourself. A civil war won't help you either. I'm pretty sure when it comes to numbers and weapons it wouldn't turn out well.

Yea. I’m over the top angry too. Your fellow Americans are being systematically oppressed and murdered and all you care about is the response, not the cause. You can care about both. My wife works in law enforcement. There are rumors going around that some of these protests are going to try and remove dispatchers through use of force. It's unacceptable, just like the death of George Floyd.

And not revenge. Swish, when I'm hanging with my black friends ( hate saying that, but to make a point ) and we are in a generally most white ( again hate saying that ) environment there is never any trouble. People getting along and having fun. That's equality. Now these same friends of mine will never take me into their so called black bars, want to know why ? Because they tell me I'll be killed.. That's revenge. How is equality ever going happen ? As I have mentioned before my mixed friend ,she has had me in the black community more then I have been . I have been treated well and get along with all of them. They also tell me I shouldn't be here or there because it isn't safe for me. I really don't like them calling each other the " N " word at all, because they are good people and that's not a good word , I don't understand it. Not all use that word and not all walk around with their ass cheeks hanging out. I feel I treat people of all Races equally because there are many people of Races I love dearly. I treat you equally , I have offered you my seats to the games, yeah my dumb ass screwed up my number and I still feel bad about that. This Race thing is hard for me to figure out because it's time for every one to feel equal to each other. I honestly feel most people of all color do. Human nature is always going to cause conflicts among each other. Whether it's white on black or white on white or black on white or black on black and that goes for the other races not mentioned. As far as these riots, I feel anytime there is violence involved , it's more revenge then equality. Doing things in a peaceful manner is showing responsibility and equality. There's nothing I want more than to live in a peaceful world where all love and respect each other.

This policeman essentially murdered someone and I get that. He should go to jail and I support it. What I don't understand are people rioting and looting. What good does that do? It sure doesn't make people sympathetic to the overarching cause of whatever someone is trying to communicate. What's wrong with those people? Are they just common criminals or what?
For the people causing disruptions? They are rioters and should be dealt with using force. I understand that other people peacefully protest and that's what you're supposed to do. Personally I'd think better about lumping myself in with others because then I'd be seen as a common rioter based on generalization. People need to learn to effectively communicate their thoughts without being violent.

Burn it down until we eliminate the racist pigs in law enforcement are gone and the criminal justice system is fixed.
I’m tired of being nice. Tired of being peaceful. It hasn’t worked.
Burn it down like white people did black Wall Street in 1921.

It makes you wonder how people become racist in the first place. Is it where they are geographically, their view of history, or what they learn from their family upbringing? Maybe its a mix of all of them.

Burning it down will only lead to more black deaths. If you think people are going to sit back and let this continue to happen, you're wrong.
Then you'll be seeing a rise in the black prison population and deaths at the hands of law enforcement. Only this time it will be while committing crimes and you won't see the sympathy you are seeing now.
You are destroying your own message of justice when you show you yourself don't believe in maintaining the law. But go ahead, promote more blacks going to prison. Because that's what's going to happen and these actions will hurt your cause, not help it. It already is.
I'm sure they're viewing video footage and issuing warrants as we speak. Yeah, that's a smart answer.

I remember hearing the “n” word for the first time as a kid ... at a friend’s house ... and literally not knowing what it meant. I went home and asked mom and dad.
I’d assume it’s a mix of family, upbringing, and environment
