I knew I couldn’t be the only one who had a stroke trying to read a transcript of trumps statements.

Most 8 year olds have a better grasp of the English language than that.

Listening to that is both hilarious and disturbing at the same time.

Am I the only one that saw the guys head bleeding as he laid there on the ground and the officers just walked on. eventually looked like a couple guardsmen maybe came in to help him.

But damn, even if he did trip, help the guy.

Didn't know where to place this article - I think it's interesting enough and sheds enough of a different perspective on how racism infiltrates how we see, hear, react to these events (like George Floyd's murder) that I think it might warrant it's own thread ... and it'll probably get lost in this thread.

But then I thought - those that don't want to open themselves to see and learn aren't going to read this anyway. A long article and a narrative that won't fit many poster's agendas on this board.

The article you provided was useful because it shows how many problems we have to conquer...and JMHO, we're probably not going to fix them all- small progress can be made AND is worth the effort. EVERYONE wants their agenda shown in best light. The cops/ AND their defense teams will state George Floyd was criminal- passed bad money, had meth in system/illegal, had criminal past, resisted arrest, etc., etc...he was bad apple. The state prosecutors will state he was murdered, an illegal procedure was used, he died of suffocation and video evidence shows it.....both sides telling the truth and a jury gets to judge. Wonder how many additional lives will be lost due to a cop- JMHO, who broke, showed no humanity because he'd been hardened by what he's been dealing with for years. Whole thing stinks AND since I'm 72 and seen, read about it, and been funding programs/ working at Habitat for Humanity, food drives, etc, etc....the worlds problems will continue....sad.

Great group? Or nothing more than a catch phrase used by the right to blame everything on? There's a difference.

Antifa was actually blamed for this. The only group the White House called out by name was Antifa for the violence at these protests. People tried to say they were wrong but they just couldn't stop gaslighting.

Pointing out that people were wrong and that the White House used this to change the story of what was truly going on doesn't mean you think a group is great. It just shows that right wing extremists always try and blame those on the other side of what they themselves are guilty of.

Minnesota Freedom Fund Slammed After Revealing Less Than 1% Of Donations Have Been Used To Bail People Out Of Jail

The Minnesota Freedom Fund received backlash Tuesday after admitting that only $200,000 out of the more than $30 million raised by the organization has been used to bail out protesters.

Nationwide protests, some of which escalated into violent riots, began May 25 after the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes. As of June 8, over 10,000 people had been arrested while protesting, according to The Guardian. (RELATED: Black Firefighter Spent His Life Savings To Open A Bar. Then Minneapolis Looters Burned It Down)

Donations flooded in to the Minnesota Freedom Fund during the protests after the organization said it was working to pay bail for people who were arrested while protesting. Celebrities like Seth Rogan, Steve Carell, Jameela Jamil, and Pete Holmes said that they had donated to the fund and encouraged other celebrities to match the donation, Variety reported.

“Without jeopardizing the safety of the folks we bailed out we paid well over $200k in the weeks since the uprising alone,” the group said on Twitter Monday. “We are working on doing more.”

The announcement sparked backlash from people asking where the rest of the money went.

So sad to see a group of bikers show up to start violence at what as an extremely peaceful protest.

And when groups attack peaceful protesters, they should be arrested which seems to be the case.

Thanks for posting this article. As much as I have been blasting far left groups (namely Antifa), these ones deserves being outed as well as trying to be destructive.

It's funny - other than a lot of fake news, there is very little actual evidence that Antifa have been active in the resent violent protesting.
