so we had a 1 and 3 chance of getting top pick and we end up with 5? yeah not rigged at all Odds must be a new concept to you. Also, was it rigged when the Cavs three #1 picks. Absolutely they were. Worst kept secret in nba

Lakers asserted their dominance last night (as did Milwaukee) Sure did, Portland couldn't make open shots. Being without Collins will make this harder, and if Dame is out (sounds like he's not), it is over...

That was a great game. And what a finish!!! Sidenote: I remember reading a pre-draft scouting report on Luka and it said that he didn't like and wasn't good at navigating traffic off the dribble.

Players in NBA history to record 43+ points, 17+ rebounds, and 13+ assists in a playoff game:
- Luka Doncic
End list. Wow! That's amazing!

Looking forward to the Utah/Denver game. Two entertaining teams. Utah is playing really well. And Donovan Mitchell is yet another young, exciting player that I really like. He is an excellent player and a nice young man.

J/C Just a reminder... Just a kid from Akron following the lead of Colin Kaepernick, Tommie Smith and John Carlos. ----------------------- Also from Doc Rivers “The hardest part of the game for me was the kneeling for 2 minutes,” Rivers said, via Clippers insider and ClutchPoints’ very own Tomer Azarly. “In 2 minutes my knee is hurting, yet there was a guy who had his knee on someone’s neck for 8 minutes… That’s nuts when you think about it.” Link I see you are trying to stir crap again? Why don’t you go root for Buffalo like you said you would.

Man, George is so talented but man he's kind of soft mentally. It doesn't help that he's primarily a front to the basket scorer and can't rely on a post up game to help him get going. It's a pretty glaring difference between Kawhi and Luka vs. George. Kawhi and Luka can get to any spot and score in any way. George is a little limited in that regard, then it gets in his head.

George has been dreadful. He has had poor playoff performances in the past, as well. I actually feel bad for the guy.
Another subject:
Some of you might think I am crazy, but I think Kawhi is a bit overrated. I think he is an excellent player, but there is all kinds of talk that he is the best player in the NBA. I don't think he is even close to LeBron. I think there are other players ahead of him, as well.
And let's face it.......if you are watching the Clippers/Mavs series, there is little doubt about who is the best player on the floor. And it ain't Kawhi.
Not really dissing the guy, but I don't think he is the best player in the league.

I actually watch Kawhi and have the opposite reaction. He pretty much does what he wants when he wants. He's the master at picking his spots. He's top 3 for sure.
Luka is great though. He's a force of nature. He's very similar to a young LeBron except he is way more confident. But he is so good with the ball in his hands that you have no choice but to run the Luka offense which is going to produce a lot of assists. No different than Lebron. They are going to have the ball in their hands all the time, and that is probably the right way to go.

Not really dissing the guy, but I don't think he is the best player in the league. I dunno, he's an elite defender and did win that chip in toronto (albet with Lebron gone and the East being a dumpster fire, and the gsw being a shell of themselves) lol maybe you have a point He's great though, but man Luka is fun to watch, that was an absolute missle he launched yesterday

What is so confusing is that PG13 was an absolute dog back in those Pacers days. Those playoff battles again bron and the heat were amazing.
But with OKC and now LAC, don’t get anywhere near that level of performance, despite having better talent surrounding him.

To you and Sperg.
I do think he is great. Top 5 for sure. Probably top 3. I do think guys that have the ball in their hands most of the time are more valuable than guys who don't.
I'm not really arguing. It's a very subjective topic.
One thing to note: look how well Toronto is doing w/out him. We all thought that team was all about Kawhi, but man, they are playing some excellent basketball. They're rough riders. They get after you on both ends of the floor. It's too bad that they couldn't get a star to replace Kawhi this year.

OKC tied up their series. Chris Paul was sensational down the stretch.
Would love to see Houston knocked out. To me, they're not a likeable team.

Let's ignore him.
I am not sure how to spell his name, but Erik Spolestra for the Heat is such an underrated coach. Their offense is very efficient and they give a ton of effort on both ends of the floor.

Man, the TNI studio crew and presentation blows ESPN/ABC's studio crew off the freaking map.
ESPN shows about 30 seconds of the group two times and the rest is dedicated to commercials. The personalities are stiff. TNT w/Ernie, Charles, Kenny, and Shaq are much more entertaining and they actually talk about the games.

They've been the flagship team for like 20 years now, as soon as Kenny Smith stopped sucking. He was terrible early on. Glad they didn't give up on him. Shaq has been a nice addition over the years.

The Lakers really put their foot on the gas suddenly
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Porzigas has been ruled out tonight. I think the Clips demolish the Mavs tonight. Luka will get his but I'm not sure the others will be able to do their part to keep it close. Burke had 25, Hardaway 21 and Curry 15 in game 4. I don't see that trio getting 60+ again. If I'm the Clips, I play the others tight and tough while letting Luka go off (it's not like they could stop him if they wanted, unless they put Leonard on him all game). He'll tire out, or that would be the plan.

I am excited about tonight's games. Two excellent match-ups. Best two series of the playoffs, although the Houston/Thunder series is good, too.

This Mitchell Murray back and forth has me mesmerized. Two young likeable stars putting on an absolute clinic. Mitchell has two 50 pt games in this series. IMO, that isn't being talked about enough.
Luka has me mesmerized although he's super annoying. But he just doesn't give a damn. Lot of respect for that.
