RUTH BADER GINSBURG
TEXAS
EVANGELICALS
PRO-LIFE
Conservative Texas pastor Robert Henderson of Waco's Radiant Church said Sunday that Ruth Bader Ginsburg died because he prayed for it to happen, according to reporting and video from Right Wing Watch.

Ginsburg passed away Friday at the age of 87 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. During her tenure on the U.S. Supreme Court, Ginsburg was an outspoken advocate of women's rights including the right to have an abortion. Henderson claimed that Ginsburg represented a "lion spirit" within the court system that God wanted to be removed, Right Wing Watch's video showed.

Henderson said he told a meeting of Washington, D.C. evangelicals that they
"'need to ask for a judgment against the lion that has actually been devouring and intends to devour from the Supreme Court. We need to get a judgment against this lion that Paul said God shut the mouth of.' So, I led us into that place."

"Well, guess what?" Henderson continued. "Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away. President [Donald] Trump will establish a new Supreme Court justice. That's no accident."

Henderson said that allowing abortion in the U.S. was allowing demons to make their presence known. "It's not just about the babies," Henderson said, "it's about a blood altar that is inviting demonic powers."

Newsweek reached out to Radiant Church for comment.

Texas pastor Robert Henderson said on Sunday that the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a direct answer to his prayers. Ginsburg died Friday at 87.

MARK WILSON/GETTY
Henderson has been a longtime supporter of President Trump. In January, Henderson claimed that Trump spoke to him on the phone during a prophetic dream. During that conversation, President Trump asked Henderson to serve as his "running mate."

“Maybe it’s a flaw of Trump, is that he didn’t hide from the virus,” the Fox News personality said. “And the reason why he didn’t hide from the virus is he didn’t want America to hide from the virus. If he was going to ask America to get back to work ... and experience a risk, he was going to do the same thing. He was going to walk out there on that battlefield with you and not sit somewhere in a basement and tell you how ... you got to get back to work but not go out himself.”

^^^ just can’t have meaningful conversations with Trump supporters. They fit the definition of a cult perfectly.

I don't want to pile on to Trump while he may be fighting for his life.

That video of him telling parents to send their kids to school was especially hard to watch today.

Trump supporters are not Trump. I'm not going to rag on Trump as I normally would, but anybody backing his incredibly stupid ideas or defending his actions/words are fair game IMHO. They are not fighting for their life.

The lunacy begins.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/02/maga-world-blame-adulation-trump-covid-425624

On Capitol Hill, Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) tweeted that China “gave this virus” to the president and first lady, and demanded: “WE MUST HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.”
-----
“You’ve never seen him sick. You’ve never seen him without energy,” Brenden Dilley, a self-described “MAGA life coach,” told his viewers on his radio show Friday. “[He’s] not walking around with weak-ass, p---- f------ genetics. He ain’t got those liberal genes. These are, like, god-tier genetics; top 1-percentile genetics.”
-----
And on Friday, according to various QAnon theorists, Trump had left a secret message to his followers in his announcement on Twitter that he had tested positive for Covid-19. Some suggested that his use of the word “together” was, in fact, code for “to get her,” a reference to attacks on his 2016 rival, Hillary Clinton.
-----
“Does anyone else find it odd that no prominent Democrats have had the virus but the list of Republicans goes on and on?” tweeted DeAnna Lorraine, a former congressional candidate who has backed baseless theories from the QAnon conspiracy movement, going on to blast masks as a Democrat-backed lie and questioning whether China had technically made an “assassination attempt” on the first family.
-----

There's crazies and extremists on all sides ... I keep saying that when people want to pick a Left Wing Loony and say they represent all Democrats. Well here's just a couple right back atcha.

Well I’m piling on.

Trump bullied everyone. He made fun of Biden and others for wearing mask and social distancing. He called it a hoax.

I’m sure he’s gonna recover. But he deserves to be ruthlessly mocked like him and his supporters did everyone else.

Sean Patterson is not worried that Donald Trump has been hospitalized with coronavirus because he believes what the president tells him.

“It’s a hoax. There’s no pandemic. As Trump said, how many millions die of flu?” said the 56-year-old truck driver outside the early voting station in St Joseph, Missouri – a stronghold for the president.

But then Patterson pauses and contemplates the possibility that Trump really does have Covid-19.

“If he’s sick, then they planted it when they tested him. It’s what they did to me when I went to hospital for my heart beating too fast. Two weeks later I got a cold,” he said. “It’s political. I don’t trust the US government at all. Who are they to mandate personal safety? I listen to Trump.”

https://www.yahoo.com/news/hoax-theres-no-pandemic-trumps-132758166.html

Just can’t have a serious conversation with trump supporters.

I just don't get how the foolish brain dead voters all seem to be in the republican party... I mean I remember when the right coined the term 'welfare queen' over poor blacks using food stamps/adc and when they marched out every idiot they could find to talk about Obama phones... They made the entire left seem like all they wanted was handouts. But people who used to act normal are repeating this crap Trump has spewn and believe things like 'Q' conspiracy theory over obvious fact. It's like stupid on steroids and I don't know how anyone can reverse the damage it has done. And it seems to be predominately the right that has been infested with this ignorance.

And the free cell phones they called Obamaphones were around since Clinton was president. They never let facts get in their way.

Who Started the Obama Phone?

“Who started the Obama Phone?” is one of the most frequently asked questions about the Lifeline program.

That growth, of course, is partially related to the financial meltdown, the subsequent recession, and lingering economic issues. The number of Americans eligible for the program has grown dramatically recent years and the program has expanded to meet that demand.

But perhaps we should look back at a little history to determine the real architect of the free phone program. A timeline of the program’s history makes it difficult to pinpoint an exact date the program was created and blurs the possibility of assigning credit or blame (depending on your opinion of the program).
President Obama?

It’s an undisputed fact that Safelink Wireless offered the first free government cell phone in Tennessee in 2008, but don’t let the year confuse you. Barack Obama was not elected President until November of that year, but that first free government cell phone was given out three months earlier during the Bush administration.

President Clinton?

Some authorities go back even further and say the Obama Phone program can trace its roots back to the Clinton administration because that’s when the Federal Communications Commission authorized a subsidy for landline telephones as part of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The Act authorized subsidized landline telephones for America’s needy and it was approved by both houses of Congress and signed into law by President Clinton.

President Reagan?

Nevertheless, some authorities dispute that interpretation and believe credit for the Obama Phone program should go back even further to 1984 when Ronald Reagan was President, because it was then that the Federal Communications Commission created the original Lifeline Assistance program (technically, Lifeline Assistance is the official name of the Obama Phone program).

https://www.obamaphone.com/started-obama-phone-program

I was basing my opinion on when it was actually approved by both houses of congress. To me that's when the government rubber stamped the program.

Just a quick overview....

Here is what Trump received as a treatment before he was sent to Walter Reed Hospital.

Trump is being treated with an experimental drug cocktail for COVID-19. Here's what it is.

By Li Cohen

Updated on: October 2, 2020 / 7:48 PM / CBS News

The White House says President Donald Trump is being treated for COVID-19 with an experimental drug cocktail. The president's physician, Sean P. Conley, released a memo Friday afternoon saying the president has received a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron's polyclonal antibody cocktail, "as a precautionary measure."

The medication is still undergoing a clinical trial, with the first data from 275 non-hospitalized patients showing that "it reduced viral load and the time to alleviate symptoms," the company said in a press release this week.

Trump given remdesivir to fight his COVID-19 infection. Here's what you need to know about it

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2020...ent/3606497001/

Anyone who is our president would be tested frequently and given the most promising drugs in this situation.

But what that does is give him the best possible scenario for a positive outcome. The diagnosis is almost immediate. The treatment is almost immediate. This is something none of the rest of us as average citizens would be privy to unless we were a person of great wealth or power. Or a professional athlete.

Hopefully Trump will make a quick and full recovery. But let's not fool ourselves into thinking what his results at his age and weight would be the same for the average American. Any president has access to the frequent testing and best immediate care the rest of us don't have.

As for Trump, I have learned from life long, long ago to never mock or make light of another's misfortune or illness.

It is indeed karma that the very thing he poopooed he now has. I sincerely hope he, his staff, and anyone else that gets sick gets well quickly. And if anything, he and his supporters learn a little from this, but in the back of my head I am skeptical they will.

I doubt that the uninformed parents are the ones who are talking to their children the most about politics.

And even if this is true - then it is good on both sides. Kids ask questions, and you will have to learn something to respond to them.

Something is eating at me.

When was the last time anyone was admitted to the hospital and allowed to put a suit on for a Photo Op? Where is the hospital gown that Reagan wore when looking out the window of the hospital after being shot?

Maybe it's just my distrust of trump and all who follow him, but this just doesn't feel right to me.
