His wife plays pro soccer in Chicago, I'd say that if he wants to go anywhere, that's where he'd push for.

Or Pittsburgh. Both of his brothers play for the Steelers.

Now that's a scary thought. The Texans are in the perfect spot to tank for Trevor though, so a trade somewhere for Watson wouldn't surprise me.

I'd be surpised. They have a QB, why would they tank to draft one?

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Watson is a good qb. They aren't trading him.

That would SO be a BOB move... and they just canned him.

with how he's been playing and his new contract no one is trading for him... besides... the Texans don't have a first rounder or second rounder... if they tank it goes to Miami...

Man, if I was Watson, I’d seriously consider a “Trade me, or I retire.” Move.
Besides DW, and Tunsil, who do they have on offense?

What, you guys don't think the Texans can make the playoff this year?

I was down on the Texans pre year but not, miss the playoffs down.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

as the GM, Bill did a lot of dumb things... He hurt the franchise.

Crennel will put the team together... I still think that had he been allowed to remain with the Browns as HC, and with Proper support from the GM, he would have won here.

I know Romeo gets a lot of love here, but that guy made some of the worst red flag and clock management decisions I've ever seen....and it didn't get better over his 5yr stay here. He went into a kind of panic mode in stressful situations.

I remember many times being furious at halftime with the usage/non-usage of timeouts

No doubt. Some coaches just make you yell at the screen, didn't take long for Romeo to just have you face palm and laugh -- that's how hopeless he was.

Seemed to struggle with math as well, so many FGs when they didn't make sense. I remember him sending out the unit with under 3 minutes against the Steelers down 10-3. I just turned off the TV and left the room.

Yet by year 3 he was 10-6.

A lesson in continuity?

They crumbled under expectations the following year, but RAC wasn't that bad.

I'm not saying he was a terrible coach, but his weak points, particularly game management, were hopeless.

Easy schedule and a lot of bounces went our way in 2007. We could have easily been 6-10. We missed the playoffs after being outcoached by the Bengals late in the season. But I have to admit, 2007 was a lot of fun.

You can pretty much say this about every 10-6 and 6-10 team every year.

I remember feeling that way about Pettine and the ends of games. I remarked at the time, it was like he was saving timeouts to give them as Christmas presents.
