I can't believe Wedge waited for all of THAT to happen before yanking C.C. JHC, that's ridiculous to let him throw 112 pitches when he was pitching that crappy. If he was shutting them down like Beckett, you can let him throw 100+, but he was struggling.

Who says there will even be a game 6. Geesh ... I'm glad the Indians don't think like you and give up in the 7th down by a few runs. Is a 3 run lead with 3 innngs insurmountable? Not when these guys have put up 7 in an inning.

Amen. There is still hope. Beckett isn't going nine IMO and we'll have to see if Papelbon can pitch 2 innings after not playing for awhile.

Yeah, C.C. just doesn't have it this postseason. Doesn't seem like a big game player to me, I hate to say it. Wedge had no business leaving him in for the 7th.

Hafner would strike out playing tee ball at this point in time.
He can't hit the side of a building if he walked right into it.

Agreed. He didn't even come close to having his "A" game. I don't get why he left him out there. You can see he is laboring and the pitch count didn't help. That hurt

We can do it. This team has a habit of pulling it off! Trot Nixon will save the day. I just feel it b/c it's Boston and crap like that happens to them

*Disclaimer* This is NOT a knee-jerk reaction to tonight *Disclaimer*
I told my wife and one of my colleagues at work that this series was going to Boston. Why? Because we would not beat Beckett tonight, and we won't win in Boston.
Also, just a stupid feeling, but being a Cleveland team, they will lose after being up 3-1 because that just doesn't happen very often.
Please prove me wrong Tribe.

Yep....his good pitches start out of the zone....the bad ones start in the zone.
That is what pitching is about.

I wanted him yanked before the inning....
We're find out who is money and who isn't.
Hafner has been almost an automatic out all post season. When is someone going to tell him that he's getting 1st pitch fastballs over the plate (that he takes every at bat) and then junk the rest of the way.
CC has been his own worst enemy.
Carmona has been the better pitcher all season, but the media did what the media does best. Carmona will be he hero.
Go Tribe.

When is Franklin going to get benched? He can't hit! It's that simple I have basically 0 confidence when he comes to the plate.

You have a DH hitting 200 and your right fielder hitting 100 in the post season .. This is not a good thing !

Nobody is having good at bats. If they were that a-hole pitcher of theirs would have been out. His low pitch count is a joke.
The reason I say a-hole is because i don't know of a pitcher who had to be bleeped on his pre-game press conference before. He's a jerk. I wished Kenny Lofton would have frenched his ex after their cat fight.

I'm not watching anymore because I was just getting frustrated, but Beckett is ON tonight. And I hate him for that.
I don't have a good feeling going back to Boston, but I hope Fausto can make things better.

I figured if we were to do something "clevelandish" it would be to gt swept in the world series. Considering in 2007 OSU lost 2 championships and th Cavs got swept. The theme for 2007 seems to be to lose the championship.

Turned to second to throw for the DP, and threw it off to the right, out of reach of the covering man. E1.
