Happy Birthday Dawgs4Life! thanks Pit!
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The Chargers have to be feeling pretty, pretty, good.
Herbert was really impressive.
When I first saw this guy before his haircut wearing a bandanna. I was thinking wow this guy looks like a high school player. How is he going to lead a NFL team.
Talk about being wrong from a first impression.
This young man has got game. He shows all the skills you look for. He is accurate. He stands tall in pocket and will deliver the ball facing a rush. He plays with confidence. His ball location on a number of throws was excellent. He throws well of the run. For such a young guy he seems unafraid. Plays with poise.
He has all the makings of fine young qb.

He has all the makings of fine young qb. Which is weird because I watched enough of him at Oregon to be thoroughly unimpressed. He was big, could run, had a big arm, but was inaccurate and held the ball too long in college. He’s been a total shock to me this year. I’ll hold off my final opinion until a couple more seasons in the pros. Wentz looked great his rookie year too....

Never saw him in college. Have not been real active watching college.
This was the first game I saw him play.
Of course many begin fast and end up slow. So time will tell.

There are two games in today. Bills @ Denver and Panthers @ Packers. Get your fantasy lineups set.

It's funny; I tuned in just in time for OT and came away with the small sample sized impression that both teams were garbage. They both tried just so hard to lose, but nobody would take No for an answer.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

j/c Cincinnati Bengals: Finley taking first-team reps, likely starter vs. Steelers on Monday https://www.springfieldnewssun.com/sport...ZFCWQDJGYVJVWA/
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I think the Steelers might be able to win this game if the didn't get to play offense.

Do we maybe want the Bills to lose so that they have something to play for against Miami?

The potential #2 seed seems like something to play for.

Damn, Josh Allen.
Buffalo has done wonders coaching this young man.
When he was in the draft. I always felt if this kid gets it together he has the highest ceiling of all the quarterbacks in his draft class.
Cannon arm. Big dude who can run. But he was so raw and mostly inaccurate.
Apparently they reworked his mechanics. Got his body in sync with his arm. Dropped his delivery a little.
He has been outstanding.
He can extend plays and throw darts into small openings.
Really impressive.
In many ways the Bills remind me of the Browns. They are very sound overall.
They could be a real problem in the playoffs.

If I believed in having "second favorite" teams, they'd be mine.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Man, I can't watch these blowouts. So uninteresting unless it's the Browns on the winning side of one. Non-Browns games...can't stand watching blowouts. Both games today.

Matt Rhule just totally outsmarted himself.

The Bills losing all 3 was a tiny percentage path for the Browns playoff berth hopes, so them crushing Denver eats a little into the talk of anyone who says, Browns just need to win 1 more and relax, they'll get in.
That's a nonsense statement.
Browns need to beat the Giants, and then on to the next one! Every remaining game is just about a playoff game.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

L. Jackson throw an int in the end zone a late flag, and the refs are conferencing for a full minute, continuing, illegal block vs jax, looks like the int will hold up.

What an ugly slate of games.
Bears/Vikings in my area to see who gets officially eliminated this week and who has to wait until next week. At least it should be competitive and fun to watch.
Or I get to watch Baltimore/Jacksonville to see how many points Jacksonville will give up this week.
Why no Dolphins/Patriots? Heck, I'd take the Texans/Colts game over this. You disappoint me CBS. When the local slate is empty, you air the most competitive game you can, not frickin Baltimore/Jacksonville.
Time to Christmas shop.
People ask me what I do in spring when there's no football. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for fall

If anyone on this board is relying on Jax., Hou., Det., or N.E. today you can pretty much forget it. I doubt any of them will win with the possible exception of N.E. We have to do it ourselves and we already failed at the 1st step last Monday. JMO

Dolphins driving .. Titans may be the only team that loses, but that doesn’t matter as much for us

one on tv one on the radio. Minshew loses his footing on 2nd down, scrambles for a first next.
Dolphins reach scoring position Jags at midfield. Pats intercept in the end zone. jags going for it on 4th down at midfield.

Did anyone else pick up Tony Pollard at the last minute and insert him in their fantasy lineup? I did in 2 leagues, very happy right now.
