If we win out and they lose out ...what happens If we assume the Dolphins lose and fall off, then, it depends on who wins the AFC South, Titans or Colts, (assume colts beat jags and titans beat Texans) If Titans win at green bay keep div title, (assume ravens win out)&, (Bills in front with 9,or 10, afc wins) It'd be, Chiefs, Bills, Browns, Titans, Colts, Steelers, Ravens, Browns would host Pittsburgh round 1 of playoffs. Or! If Colts win out, Dolphins lose 1, Titans lose at green bay and assume same as above, Then Colts get the AFC South, it would be, 1-- , Chiefs, Bills, Browns, Colts, Steelers, Titans, Ravens. round 1, becomes, Browns host Titans, Colts host Steelers Bills host Ravens. So, Steelers perspective ... that's not so bad. what if, the Dolphins don't lose...
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

It’s really a great spot for us .. BOTH Pittsburgh and Indianapolis have a lot of motivation to win. So, if we beat the Jets we are either guaranteed a WC spot or guaranteed a chance at the division.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Ben’s arm is getting tired.
That was plainly obvious last night. There was a play last night where Claypool ran open about 30yds downfield and Ben chose to throw to a receiver short of the first down. He was as inaccurate as I've ever seen him. Speaking of Claypool, until recently he was running all over the field getting separation like it was child's play. The last few games, he has been locked down. I don't know if he's hurt or maybe teams were focusing on Juju more early on?

I don't get this. I would have thanked them to beat the dolphins when they didn't fare well in their 7-19 loss. And I could thank them to beat the Ravens week 17.

Browns are going to win the division and host a playoff game and only 12k can attend. Minor bummer! nothing guaranteed with our defense but I like our chances I'd like to see updated chances on Browns or Steelers to win division. 538 has us at a 27% chance of winning the division. Is that updated since loss to Bengals? I need a betting line, cfrs!

hopefully! I like the sport we are in right now ... either Pitt wins and we’re happy or the Colts win and we’re happy. Let’s just hope we take care of business

Concentrate on going 1-0 this Sunday and control the thing you can control and let the chips fall where they may

That if you bet 1 dollar on us to win the division, you’d get 2.70
If you’d bet 1 dollar on the Steelers you’d only make like 34 cents lol

Or since the line is always represented in hundreds, here's an easy way to understand...
A plus line (+270, in this case) means if you bet $100, you win $270
A minus line (-340, in this case) means that to win $100, you would have to bet $340. In other words, on a minus line, the number is what you would have to bet to win $100.

Thanks guys - so it appears that Vegas favors the Steelers' chances to win the division over ours. Understandable, since they have more wins, but I think the Browns might be a good bet to win out. And it looks to me like Ben can't throw any more.

I honestly think the Browns will beat the Steelers. So ... if the line on the Colts beating the Steelers is close - I think there is a good play for a small wager on winning the Div. Just how I see it.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

I heard that the 2021 draft is thin for QBs. If I were calling shots in Pittsburg, I'd look at trying to get a bridge QB in Mariota, Darnold, Wentz, or maybe even Fitz for 1-2 years.

I’ve thought Darnold might be a choice for them too

Darnold or Wentz looks like a good bet to land there if their current teams decide to trade them. Then they will resurrect their careers!

Eagles have their hands full with Wentz.
"If they cut him loose (be it as a pre- or post--June 1 release), they'd still owe him a $10 million roster bonus and $15.4 million in base salary for 2021 -- per OverTheCap. If it's a pre-June 1 firing, his total dead money hit for next year launching to $59.22 million. If they designate him a post-June 1 release, to take a swing at lessening the salary cap impact as much as possible, the dead money hit would lessen to $34.67 million.
A trade, however, would garner the Eagles a load of cap savings that increases to the aforementioned $25.4 million offloaded to the new team if it happens post-June 1, but that would involve convincing a team to give up an asset or two for the right to take on a massive contract and subsequent cap hit, which inherently means that team would have to believe Wentz could be their franchise quarterback -- for a very long time to come."

Just how I see it. I think so too. The Steelers have better odds for a couple reasons, not the least of which is they only have to win 1 game and we have to win 2 so our odds go down. Plus the Steelers do still have a better record than us, even though we have all seen them struggle, they are currently better than 50% against us. If the Browns beat the Jets and the Colts hand the Steelers their 4th consecutive loss, you will see the odds change dramatically.
