Things that are never said together "Brady Quinn" and "long ball", except in that video.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Mike Furrey, Chris Jennings, Chanci Stuckey ... I do not miss those days

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Unless it followed with "way out of bounds" or "not even close"

Mack, Steinbach, JT, Cribbs and Dawson were about the extent of the goodness.

Goff hasn’t played one game under his new extension. The same happened to Todd Gurley. Two disastrous contracts for the Rams.

Both of those guys can be moved pretty easily. Also, Stafford’s wife hated Michigan because of how liberal it is. Wait until she gets a look at the Bay Area or LA.

Somehow, my mind keeps telling me that one of these proven QBs end up in Pittsburgh. Ben is done, and I think he knows it. They don't have much cap space, but Pouncey retired so that opens some up. They are just so lucky, I wouldn't be surprised that somehow they get Watson. This is not something I heard, and I'm not starting rumor. It is just how they luck into things, just like Fitzpatrick. My mind is warped living around all these steeler fans. LOL

RIP, Jim

Roethlisberger was on the (radio) air in Pittsburgh on Thursday saying he's "pretty sure" he wanted to return for another year, and would be open to a contract re-structuring to lessen the cap hit for what he's scheduled to make next year ($41M).

If Stafford is worth a league average starter and two firsts then what is Watson worth?

Just heard Stafford to the Rams for two firsts and Goff.... That'd be insane.

Report: Lions trade Stafford to Rams for Goff, multiple draft picks

https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2103361

The Detroit Lions are trading star quarterback Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams for two future first-round picks, a third-round selection, and quarterback Jared Goff, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

More to come.

Lions get a haul and are in complete rebuild mode.

Rams need to have a small window to win now before they are in rebuild mode.

Initial reaction, this trade is good for both teams.

I’d expect to see the Lions move Goff somewhere else now that the Rams took on all his dead money.

The question is as Browns fans what would you have given for a franchise QB?

After Weedon, Quinn and company I would give up a lot for a MS.

The winners are the Rams they got the sure bet.

Great call! Definitely seems like a Dorsey move.

J/c question

How long does Stafford have left? 1-2 years?

He is pretty beat up.

This has to be a cap trade that we pulled off a few years ago with Brock while taking a shot with Goff

Meh.

Roethlisberger will be back. Maybe Washington, Carolina, Indy, San Francisco, or Denver. Those are the teams that were in on Stafford. Goff will require much less compensation and you can ditch him pretty easily if it doesn’t work out.

Yeah, I think Goff may be on the move again. I’d say it’s a good move for Detroit to maximize Stanford’s value and then some

In all, the Rams spent two 1s, two 2s and two 3s to trade up to draft Jared Goff and another two 1s and a 3 to replace him after 5 seasons.

Could be.

Goff has history with the new GM. My thinking is they will stick with Goff and look to trade down from #3 in the draft.

They could get quite a bit for that draft position.
