Jones allegedly committed a violent assault early Monday morning in Cincinnati

Former NFL cornerback Adam Jones has found himself in trouble with the law again. WCPO 9 reports that Jones was arrested in Cincinnati and charged with misdemeanor assault. According to Hamilton County court documents obtained by WCPO 9, the police arrested Jones early Monday morning after he punched and kicked a person in the head until the person was unconscious.

Jones, who most recently spent time with the Denver Broncos, announced his retirement following the 2018 season. "Pacman" will most likely be remembered for his eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was named first-team All-Pro in 2014 and earned his only Pro Bowl bid the following season in 2015. While Jones was a reliable cornerback who played with the kind of aggression coaches loved, he will unfortunately be remembered for his laundry list of shortcomings off the field.

The Tennessee Titans took a chance on Jones with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, even though he was on probation for a fight in West Virginia. The rookie was then also arrested on charges of assault and vandalism even before he played a down in the NFL. During the drawing up of his rookie contract, former Titans general manager Floyd Reese said the Titans were insistent on writing up a deal that would protect the club from paying guaranteed or bonus money in case of a conviction for a crime. Jones would be arrested several more times throughout his career, and was even suspended a full year in 2007 due to violating the league's personal conduct policy.

In 12 seasons and 146 career games, "Pacman" racked up 509 combined tackles, 97 passes defensed and 17 interceptions. Jones reportedly faced a Hamilton County judge this morning regarding his latest brush with the law.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

It seems like he’s had issues like this for two decades

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

Misdemeanor assault? He punched and kicked the guy unconscious. What would constitute felony assault, I wonder? A weapon? This guy is just flat-out "bad people".

I have no idea how much he made in his career, but I have to wonder how much he has left, dollar wise.

In 2011 he was ordered to pay $11 million to victims from his Las Vegas antics. Add in attorney fees over the years, I'm fairly sure he spent quite a chunk of money on living, toys, cars, homes, etc.

yeah, he's got issues, in my opinion.

All states are a little different, but generally speaking, physical injury needs to result to be charged with a felony.

Physical injury goes beyond a black eye. Going unconscious isn't necessarily a serious injury, though it might push the border.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is just awful.

But, I will say, I still think there's a big difference from 2 scenarios,
1, someone gets knocked out by one punch, and 2, someone just continues on in rage until someone is knocked out.

Also, I still think there's a Huge Huge difference if one of the people was just minding there own business, or were they starting a fight.

Like a conveince store worker who just showed up to their terrible existence to ring up your lottery tickets for 6 years and someone walks in and shoots them, the convience store person was clearly minding their own business and the other person is clearly a greedy pile of scum
who in no way had any reason to think they couldn't get their stuff, pay for it like a (fnormal member of society), and walk out the door without getting confronted by the convenient store worker,
but instead, they decided to be a greedy selfish pille of the worst, and kill someone or shoot them or even threaten to,
I think those people are some of the worst.

That was Chris Henry.

He and his girl got in to it, she drove off, he jumped in the back of the truck. Evidently he was trying to get in the cab and she swerved around and he head planted on the road about a mile from where it started.
