I'm suspecting that this may be last second gamesmanship by some teams to try to bait the waters into letting them slip. All the insiders are saying medical info is still coming in. Not having the combine seems to be a disastrous consequence of COVID for front offices. Not being able to get official testing numbers or accurate medical data (on time) is a huge deal.

I'm with you. I think it's more a case of subterfuge and gamesmanship. It happens every year.

I still believe we could use another CB and edge rusher not to mention a deep threat at WR. Our Browns for 2021 are not a finished product. JMO

link If the Browns front office is looking for excuses to justify not use the #26 pick, there are teams willing to play the Browns for suckers, trading out of the #26 pick.
There will be talented players available at 26.
Don't waste a chance to draft talented players who can help the Browns this season.
