Well, at least here we know he's in contact with the joint chiefs of staffs In fact, in his own words, they "usually contact me one way or another, usually by letter...." Sad our government can't communicate via e-mail, or text, or, ya know, just talking in the meetings. I would assume the joint chief's of staff actually have meetings with the president. Or did he forget? Thank God for the postal service so biden can find out what's going on.

I also caught that and found it strange.... what did he mean by 'by letter'.... like they are sending important information through the mail? how about a face chat or something.... or maybe he meant that they are calling someone on his team who is writting it into a memo for him?? Regarding Biden holding himself accountable... I do have one comment I think should be made, and this could just be my bitterness towards politicians in general....

Unless you're being very specific about things that you messed up, saying things like "it's my responsibility" and "the buck stops with me" is only meaningless chest-pounding. I haven't heard the former from him, but I've heard much more of the latter.

I think the term "All that has happened as of late" pretty much covers the entire withdraw process. I believe you are just quibbling over the details beyond that.

I have seen quite a few on Twitter who were very outspoken for the "All Lives Matter" group... who are now upset that we are spending resources to save innocent Afghans rather than saving Americans first.

Tim Pool actually made this great point: this is what happens when you vote against somebody instead of for somebody. Orange Man bad was as sophisticated as Biden voters got when they pulled the lever.

There is no way any of them will admit to Biden's cognitive failings because that would mean they would have to admit the rest of us were right. They then would have to bear the responsibility of knowingly voting for someone for whom if they were literally their Uncle Joe, they'd be having family discussions about taking his drivers license away from him.

Here's where we are at with A'stan:

-The Biden Admin for the last few days has been fishing for credit in putting together the largest air lift in history.

-The Biden Admin presumes the Taliban care about being recognized as a legitimate gov't and so we get:

-the Taliban in charge of our security. Rational people will already understand why that is absurd.

-the Taliban have been handed a list of names of American citizens and Afghan allies because they think it will give them a Fast Pass through their check points. Rational people realize its a kill list.

-the Biden Admin is already telegraphing their intent to leave people behind and starting to blame them for their own predicament.

There's 1 of 2 things, possibly both going on Eve. First, the Biden Admin is trying to slap a band aid on it and hope people forget about it, even if it ends up costing hundreds or thousands of lives. What's sad is that this isn't even an inflammatory statement! Don't forget, they have ZERO fear of actual accountability. Congressional hearings won't result in anything. You're also talking about people who support a party that are fine with bloodshed because they profit politically from it. You see this in blue urban areas, you saw it with Govs Whitmer and Cuomo and the thousands of elderly they killed, on up to murderous figures like Che, Mao, and Lenin being people they look up to.

The second thing is this: how much $$ does the military industrial complex have to lose by us getting out of A'stan? Probably a butt load. The lefties here loved the fact that the gov't bureaucrats lied to Trump about troop levels in Syria. Why would anyone reasonably believe those same people wouldn't be lying to Biden to further their own agendas? The execution of the withdrawal, putting Taliban in charge, passing out a kill list... the apologists might admit those are bad ideas... but if you put them together it creates a perfect storm for a large enough atrocity to occur that would throw us right back in to A'Stan full force.

For what it’s worth I’ve seen way more Liberals on this forum criticize Biden than I’ve seen Conservatives on this forum ever criticize Trump.

I personally don’t like either.

If something happens to him they will prop him up like weekend at bernies and tell us everything is fine.
