So where is the official list of this stuff as I am looking everywhere and have to go on my wife's work mates feeding her the rumors.

How many OL are out - Baker in or out we need an effective run game again and our play action passes with lasers from Baker or lollipops from Keenum - its all about the run game with an awesome defense for us to win!!!

If I am remembering correctly thier run defense is about as good as ours. With no teller, wills or Conklin I dont see us rushing for many yards at all. Losing teller hurts the most when it comes to running the ball

Just to be clear, the NFL never said anything like that. That was a media narrative, latched onto mostly because of the harsh language that included "forfeit".

In fact, the language is clear that they would even make exceptions for breakouts of unvaccinated players, even though those players were the subject of all their ire and hyperbolic threats:

"...if an outbreak among unvaccinated players causes an unresolvable disruption in the regular-season schedule."

And, in fact, they also said this:

"Whether to reschedule a postponed game will be dependent on health and safety reasons at the recommendation of medical experts as well as considerations of stadium availability, schedule integrity, fan convenience, and other appropriate matters."

And this:

"will attempt to minimize the competitive and economic burden on both participating teams."

I don't remember if their D shut down our run game or our playcalling did. I do remember they ran the ball down our throats and time of possession was heavily favored for them. The Raiders game was also before our bye, which I remember as kinda being the turning point for our offense last year (though looking back at the scores each week doesn't really back up this feeling).

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Not really. For comparison, wr are giving up 106 yards a game. The raiders, 125. That's only 19 yards oer game difference.

Yes.

That makes the Browns the 10th best against run in the NFL and

the Raiders... the 25th against the run in the NFL.

But it's only 16 yards. They cant be that bad. Not that it matters anyways at this point

Guys that test positive today would also be out against the Packers unless they test negative with no symptoms.

ProFootballTalk
@ProFootballTalk
Per multiple sources, the teams currently in enhanced protocols tried to not test asymptomatic, vaccinated players today. The NFLPA got involved and the teams/league backed down and conducted the tests.

ProFootballTalk
@ProFootballTalk
Also, the NFLPA is currently pushing aggressively for a postponement of the Raiders-Browns game on Saturday. Some in the union believe the entire season should shut down for a week. The union is concerned about player safety and game integrity.

Is it true only 3 teams are being made to test? I can’t find anyone else saying anything about that.

What a crock. If any team besides the Browns or Lions were 20 players down, including 1st and 2nd qbs along with the HC....you can bet your arse the game would be postponed.

Poop's about to hit the fan now.

That's some 7-9 b.s. right there. Teams reaching epidemic level positives and the league says not to test anyone without symptoms??

So you can keep the games alive this weekend??

Baker just carved our name back in the top of the NFL sh*tlist, but good for him. Everybody hush-hush on the whole thing and the silence was deafening. I could not believe the Browns were being silent. Raven's players whined last year and Rog let them pick their gameday. It looked like we were standing here with our tail between our legs.

If we play Saturday, the league is making us forfeit (our season) because of how their policy dealt with vaccinated players.

Add AJ Green and Jacob Phillips...

@JosinaAnderson
I’m told personnel were informed that #Browns player positives are Case Keenum, Grant Delpit, AJ Green, Ronnie Harrison & Jacob Phillips, at this time, per league source.

Stefanski and Haslem need to grow a set and follow Baker's lead....publicly tell the NFL what a crap show this is. They let the rats wait until Lamar was healthy last year, and we have to play with our 3rd qb and down 20 players and a HC?

Ironically, Baker just basically threw their hats in the ring. Him and Myles were like "hmmm, I guess we have to get the ball rolling". Can they still really be silent?

Best thing would be a release from Mr Berry. I'm sure he could articulate our anger without stomping on their feet.

Who couldn't get behind that? Fits our m.o. anyway. This city and team will never be handed any favors from this league, may as well fight.
