Is it true Baker is healthy and NFL jobbing the Browns - why???
So they wish to make sure the Browns don't win there division?? Steeler and Ravens have the fix in as Baker stated they gathered for practice and did not test the Browns then after practice they gathered once again and tested everyone?

My understanding is that almost all of the players who tested positive are asymptomatic, but were put on the Covid list based on the previous protocols. MKC was on local radio this morning and she said she wouldn't be surprised to see some of those players reactivated based on the new protocols. I think its now more about "viral load" (degree of contagiousness) than a simple positive test. (Feel free to correct me if you know better - I'm no expert on this.)

Although, what these thresholds are is anyone's guess. They worked with "medical experts", can't recall if the mentioned CDC by name. Bottom line, one or two token players returning wouldn't be shocking, but this won't be enough when the entire roster has been decimated. TANY!

From an article on NFL com this morning; link below with a pdf of the protocol. Included in the updated protocols are changes to how fully vaccinated players can "test out" of COVID-19 protocols and return from quarantine quicker. The NFL provided three testing options for a fully vaccinated individual to return provided he or she is asymptomatic for at least 24 hours. In the updated protocols, an individual's return from quarantine is possible as soon as the day after his or her initial positive test. Think how good it's going to feel when the Browns win the game even though playing a lot of backups.

Both Hunt (ankle) and Newsome (concussion) were ruled out Thursday after the team's first and only full-squad practice of the week. WR Anthony Schwartz (concussion) has also been ruled out and will miss his fourth consecutive game.

I've got question for my fellow Browns fans. Why did the league feel the need to schedule 2 games on Christmas day? Why couldn't everyone play on the next day which is when most of the teams normally play naturally with the exception of Monday and Thursday night games. The biggest holiday of the year and 4 teams have to play? I can't understand it. Oh wait. Could it have something to do with money and ratings? No never!

Yes it has to do with money and ratings. That's what most corporations do is try to maximize their profits. Why would you think that would be odd or a bad thing? They do the exact same thing on Thanksgiving and it's worked for them. So now they're doing the same thing that worked for them and expanding it to Christmas.

But it would be funny AF if we forfeited right at kickoff, giving them no notice. Have the Raiders come to Cleveland, announcers in place, TV all set up, then go out for the coin toss and notify them that we won't be playing. I'm sure the fans who went to First Energy wouldn't find it as amusing as me but...

Id rather play and lose than forfeit a game.
NFL hates us...we will see who ends up playing or will the delay be extra time to get the scrubs on board and make a game of it...not to have a complete disaster with no competition. We will see was hoping the NFL would put all back a week except of course the already played Thursday night game.
