Go ahead and please provide something to back this up. The reality is - and I posted it above - crime is up under Trump/Republicans and Democrats. It's not a party thing - it's not policial - it's an American problem. And pointing the finger like you just did and others on this thread have done achieves nothing but division.

At this point in time that's the entire GOP party platform.

I don't blame the gullible as much as the right-wing media that keeps dishing up these lies and feeding it to them. You can't help or fix stupid, but those media outlets know the truth and are intentionally mudslinging, muddying the waters, and driving the divides. That's the only reason articles like, "Black man sets girlfriend on fire in Chicago", are featured on Fox News.

I think that has become the problem across the board, with not only this, but every issue, be it societal, economical, etc. Politics has seeped its way into everything, so that the initial focus is on casting blame and fault, rather than saying "how can we collectively fix this."

And when we ask that question, the answer more often than not is "tell your side to stop screwing up."

I agree. The issue is I am not pointing fingers - I am saying this issue is happening under both administrations and the data proves that. But then we have a bunch of posters all lining up spewing the propaganda that their 'news' sources are feeding them, and even when provided with data that shows otherwise they shut their eyes and ears and double down.

The fact remains far left progressive liberal District Attorney's have been soft on crime in general and have emboldened the criminals. The Democratic law makers have also hand cuffed police officers across this Country in large cities. Those two factors are the major contributors to the rise in crime. You cannot tell me the ex mayor of New York has had no hand in that cities rise in crime. The mayor in Chicago has had no hand in that cities rise in crime. While both parties must deal with this issue. The progressive agenda pushed by Democrats is not working and has been a major contributor to the rise in crime and assault on Police Officers.

Yeah I'm with you, and I wasn't implying that you were pointing fingers. I'm just talking about the central issue.

It just goes to show that when you repeat everything you've been told.... When you claim that those on the fringe of a party represent an entire party..... You often times end up being wrong.
