And you are smart enough, I hope, to understand that no matter who would be President right now, there would be no "cheap" gas. Trump left office with low gas prices because we were still in the middle of a global pandemic that greatly restricted travel, and also there wasn't a major war going on. It's possible that prices may be a bit lower, but think more $.15-$.20 a gallon max, not the "cheap" $1.75 or whatever it was when he left office.

Yes, hence the portion about the pandemic slowing, or at least most things opening back up, especially travel and such. The entire world was basically shut down for months and it took a good long while for everything to settle, and for the oil glut to dissipate. As things opened up, and people/work/travel started to return to more normal standards, oil usage climbed and demand went up. That results in prices increases.

I am not saying that there isn't other factors as well, but to just say "Biden did it" is a bunch of crap. There are hundreds of factors in the increase, and most have nothing to do with the President.
