Saying that I had been declined for a Wells Fargo credit card. However, if I want to be reconsidered, I can bring 2 forms of ID to Washington ....
The only problem is that I never applied for a Wells Fargo Card.
I have 4 credit cards, the most recent is mt bank's VISA, because they pay 5%, 2%, and 1% on charges. I don't want any more cards.
I suppose I will lock my credit report, and put a notice on it requiring anyone pulling my credit report to call me on my cell before proceding. Ugh.

If you lock it you are given a PIN, and no one can access without that PIN. That way it is only you that can grant permission by sharing the PIN.
Ours has been locked for years and we've never had any issues with inquiries.

Cool. I am going to go see a couple of my frie .... err ... doctors tomorrow ..... and Thursday, and Friday ..... but I am going to work this in there ASAP.

That sucks... several years back we received notice that out Taxes were rejected because they had already been filed... and a house loan was denied in Ohio... only issue is we didn't file our taxes and I wasn't buying a house in Ohio...
Someone stole my wife identity... took a couple of years but eventually we convinced the US Government that we indeed tried to pay our taxes on time and they waved the penalties for being late...
