It would be cool to see all the heads explode if she suspends him indefinitely with a minimum one year suspension as well.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't think that will happen, but it could.

who knows. just from a football perspective, yea it would be nice to see our franchise QB start week 1. but we still took an L from public opinion, and deservedly so. as i've said, DW is a creep, and he needs to see somebody about that, and there are women who feel they were put in compromising situations. but 2 different grand juries refuse to indict, most accusers settled, and the nfl can't even bring a case to the judge other than "look at the accusations".

i don't view this as a victory against those arguing for punishment. we're talking about something that goes beyond the football field.

just as a browns fan, it'd be nice to see him start week 1, and get hyped about what kind of season we could have.

"Deserves" could be very different from what he'll get. Let's face it... the NFL didn't wake up one morning a couple months ago and decide that their personal conduct policy was actually going to be for punishing wrongdoing and ensuring high moral character of all the people it's applied to. It's historically been about doing the bare minimum in the court of public opinion.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

To me.. How can you drop the hammer on Watson but then not say anything about the Texans?? If there was something bad going on, the Texans provided an NDA to cover themselves and Watson. And now all you got is some women saying he made them feel bad by asking for extras! The league had to act tough for appearances but the more this case evolved, the weaker it got!!.. So now they need to be bailed out.

Pit... Then what did they say?? Who do you have that said anything past what 2 Grand Juries and now the NFL missed??? I looked online and all those women said he asked to be touched in certain areas. But NO ONE said Watson made them do it. Forced them to do it nor stopped them from leaving..etc. And BTW... apparently they did not say that to the Grand Juries nor the NFL.

Now we do know that the Texans made sure Watson had a NDA, because they provided it! So how does Watson get an indefinite suspension from the NFL but the Texans get nothing?? Again, The arbitrator might come back with a 6-8... of which I believe the NFL will take.

I think the NFL has come to a crossroads here. The 24 accusers side of this is unprecedented. And while everyone is entitled to their opinion I think they feel it's a safer risk to go against the NFLPA and watson's attorney than the Me Too movement and the fact that over half the nation's population are women. And as we see on this very board men as well aren't even all close to being in agreement on the watson issue.

They have taken a lot of heat before with claims they have been soft on the abuse and mistreatment of women. Now I don't know any more than anyone else as to how this will all unfold, but I can't see the NFL getting away with or attempting to get away with a short suspension. Maybe it will happen.

People can say that 20 of these women settled. But that would ignore the fact that watson settled. Some of those same people touted that watson's attorney claimed he had mountains of evidence to discredit all of these women before the settlements occurred. Yet we never saw evidence of any such thing and if it had been true there would have been no need to settle. There would have been no grounds for watson and his attorney to agree on a settlement. Now we have those same people touting the NFLPA attorney's who once again are paid to represent watson and watson's attorney trying to make arguments and claim they can be trusted. They are using tjhe opinion of an unnamed sources opinion of what was presented at the hearings which has been repeated in the press over and over again. Yet we both know that attorney's are paid to say what puts their clients in the best light. Maybe the NFL still believes they can go soft on the abuse of women. I have no idea.

But with MLB suspending Baur for two years, the heat has certainly been turned up no matter what anyone says to the contrary.

I guess you missed where he ejaculated on at least one of them. These things have been posted several times during these debates so I'm not going to rehash them. One of these women left the session crying and watson even admitted she was crying. But he claimed he had no idea why? Sure...
