Preseason game 2 upcoming. Soggy and bad weather in Cleveland … I’d be tempted to sit everyone, especially after having two practice sessions this weekend.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yep...typical weather in Cleveland and a good test for the Browns players who might not be used to playing in less than ideal conditions.
Good test for the Browns coaching staff, too...

j/c,
Does anyone else feel as if the Browns are making a concerted effort to distance themselves from association with "Dawgs" Do not accept the Elf. What is that an Elf dancing in a mascot uniform. Do NOT accept the ELF, it's stupid. What is an Elf. It's the Browns the elfs are an insult to my intelligience, much like many other things The ... What Brisset is not playing?????? Oh my Trading Mayfield for Brissiet is an insult to my intelligience. who knows what's going on, D'Ernests is looking good. Dobbs ... Dobbs is the only uarterrback they have that I don't hate or grimace at the thought of right now. Touchdown, Browns, the uarterback himself on a run. The Preseason still needs abolished.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Bell should have caught that 3rd down ball. That’s one he let get into his body. He should have reached out to pluck it away from the DB. My guess is he’d like to have that one back.
York good from 50… could have been 60. Kid has a leg.

I know nobody will have seen it. But that Drive Stalled when:
that Drive stalled when on 2nd down, Jerome Ford, did not have enough speed on the first step after his cut/juke move, and which set up 3rd and Long, leading to the low percentage deep pass that ended incomplete.
Now, Ford... runs with a cutting style, a style like what's his name from years past, but, D'Ernest has outplayed him so far today. D'Ernest Johnson's, one cut, and he's facing.. leaning.. and moving forward in a new lane, immediately, whereas Fords' carry? It was, Cut, and then take a slow first step, and then Whistle he's down.
edit: what's his name = Jamal Lewis

A line of severe thunderstorms interrupt the Columbus I0 local broadcast, as the radio shows they have a I9 yard run or screen. With today's radar, there is no need for interrupting storms broadcasts, until the Tornado starts swirling, I mean, they can practically tell you the street address of the tornado when it forms anyway.

And catches the next. Schwartz has schizophrenic hands. Which one is manic and which one is depressive. As the British congress parliament people say. "I refer the gentleman to the right gentlemans' previous remarks" Which means, I have nothing more to say than what that other person said, Two HOURS ago. Browns WRs. No Confidence vote. Harley, Schwartz, Bradley, on and on.

The padded extra topps to the helmets, seen in practices, don't go far enough. Everybody needs to be playing in those GIGANTIC inflatable plastic hamster wheel type balls; those would really protect players.

First half thoughts:
- Dobbs has been impressive thus far. Good poise, good athleticism. Throwing a decent ball - Our RBs are good. Ford and Johnson solid backups. - Our D leaves a lot to be desired. I know it’s backups, but we haven’t looked good on D. - Philly has some offensive depth. Good WRs and Minshew has looked good. - York is good
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Would love to see some deep balls and some more downfield passes.

Our zone running scheme is awesome. Please keep Callahan until he retires.

Another TD drive! Great job by the run game and timely passing
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Not a fan of the Elf. Nothing says fierceness and ferociousness like an........elf? Elfs are for good luck. It's up to the players to provide the other stuff. I googled good luck symbols and didn't see anyting about an Elf. Touchdown Browns John Kelly 7 yards. So, I found Wikipedia of lucky symbols. Can you find Elf = good luck on there? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lucky_symbols I didn't see any mention of Elf. I learned Elephants are good luck. Huh? I guess in China. I didn't know that.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I don't think he's as good as DA. They just had a graphic with Rosen that listed I2 Td's and 2I ints.

A 2007 pro bowler, Anderson has also played for the Browns Card Bills and Panthers. Derek Anderson 60 tds 64 ints I0,000+ passing yards 236ish rushing yards I was looking for his 2007 stats and saw career stats for Derek Andrson.
Philly, in one play showed what Schwartz was supposed to show at any point in the last 24 months.

Arrgh Stefanski Can't pick up a 4th and one, even in preseason. We're doomed.

Perrion Winfrey has some sort of injury. The Browns offense is flawed by design, the Browns offense has design flaws, no matter who is running it. It's all designed to take ten plays to go downfield, nothing is designed to challenge anything deep.

The @uarterbadk situation is a wash with uncertainty.
The offense looks like it has taken absolutely no steps forward.
And the Defense made a couple of plays later, but couldn't stop the run early.
And the Offense goes from bad to worse on the final drive.

Yeah, Rosen is clearly below Dobbs on the roster, maybe even cut if we can find someone else (Nick Mullins?)
