My opinions and feelings have nothing to do with what he can or can not do. Once again, that's the difference here. My choice is not to act like he does and not to approve of what he does. It is not to support what he has done. You on the other hand want to and have helped support others not being allowed to do what you disapprove of. And had he have simply asked someone else to have sex with him as you suggested, that would be different. That's not at all what happened.

I know a judge determined him to be a total liar. Are you saying that you are a better person to come to that conclusion than a retired judge who listened to the witnesses and poured over the evidence? This is obvious for anyone willing to be rational about it.

I don't care about people who just want to root for their football team. But the people who try to defend what Watson did as somehow normal for a young man, or for a young black man, or in any other way are just plain cringy. I think you go a little too hard at others at times, but I totally get the difference between you and me on Watson. At his age, I think a chance to prove he can do better or be a better person is appropriate AFTER he has paid an appropriate price for abusing his fame to lure and manipulate these women into whatever it really was. He's disgusting for all of that for sure and should be reviled for those actions. But like anyone else, after he pays that price, he should still be able to earn and live. I don't think there is enough proof the women were forced in any way to think he should suffer being on the sexual assault predator registry, but he should definitely be on a very short and supervised leash. The evaluation, counseling, and other guard rails put in place satisfied my outrage enough to watch the games without feeling like I need a shower afterward, but to each, his own in how you/they feel about him is how I'm moving forward. I don't feel the need to bash you for how you feel or somebody like Vers either. I feel he's been outed and punished. Rather it was enough or not is yet to be determined.

I do know there is no group of 66 or so people, men or women, worth 5 million to sleep with, millionaire or not. And the same for the shame and infamy. So, he's paying much more than just 11 games and a fine IMHO.

And at such time as that happens I'll be happy to revisit the situation. So far he's done none of that.
