That Sony up converts also. I think that will be my next purchase.

I have a collection of just over 350 movies and it would be nice to have a changer for all of them. That way the kids don't mess with the DVD's and damage them. I could also put all of the boxes in storage and wouldn't have them sitting on a shelf in the living room.

You can get the LG BH100 for like 500 (599 maybe) at Circuit City right now. But that original player is not very good with HD DVD's (a big deal given the price tag)

There are two knew ones coming out soon though. Lg BH200 and the Samsung BH-UP5000. I'm really interested in the Samsung as it has HQV upconversion which is supposed to be the best upconverting hardware. Plus it has all the features of both formats. That said at $800 I'm having trouble justifying the expense to myself
