Berry believes winning up the middle, but also believes in finding players in the draft and value players. He traded for Cooper so I don't think he undervalues the position. Finding DT is the next in the list, but after trading for a QB who really want going to play this year, we weren't expected to be a top contender. DT comes next year and we're redirected to win it all.
Dorsey was awful, Sashi was better, and Berry is yet to be determined but I've been disappointed. I pray this was supposed to be purple... Sashi was better than Dorsey..lmao. Dorseys players are the ones keeping this thing from completely imploding because of Berry's picks. Look at Dorseys picks still leading the way in KC as well. I think you're right. It is Dorsey's picks and moves keeping this thing afloat. The shine is off Stefanski. He's not a head coach. And most of Berry's picks/moves just aren't that good. The best thing Berry has done is extend Dorsey's guys.
The longer this season goes on the angrier I get with Stefanski and the complete waste of a year he is subjecting Chubb, Bitonio, Teller, Cooper, Clowney, Conklin, and several others too.
It would be nice if Stefanski prioritized winning over being an OC. How many regimes have come through Cleveland that didn't prioritize winning...coaches and FOs? Dorsey is the only guy that actually aggressively pursued players to win.
When the Browns are sitting at 5 wins at the end of the year it might vet ugly.
Screw Stefanski. Friggin fraud.
