Gonna be a busy weekend. I have to work on Saturday. I’ll get home around 3 on Saturday. Start throwing a few back while cooking and listening to sports talk radio. There will be a couple good college games on, so I’ll flip back and forth for those. Sunday is wide open. God willing, Ill wake up. 😂 Get the groceries for lunch for throughout the week, grab a coffee, take a long walk in the park, make some finger foods for the game, stand and watch the Patriots whoop us again.
Well, I can't drink anymore and pharmaceuticals were never my thing. I'm seriously thinking of some type of hypnosis on Sundays for the next couple of months - brain on cruise control and healthy blood pressure. It's a 10am game here, which means coffee during the first half and Chex Mix during the second. Fitful nap afterwards. Plus my dad died three nights ago, and it will be only the second game we haven't watched together in 22 years. In that sense, I guess a win or loss doesn't matter. But I'm hoping JOK wakes up, Njoku takes some of the double teams off Cooper, and Myles plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder (maybe even the sore one). Who knows with the Browns, right. Look into hypnosis.
Damn AZ, very sorry to hear that. I'm sure you'll have a heavy heart Sunday, maybe the Browns will sooth that with a big W. Twenty-two years, a lot to be thankful for there -- not that you don't already know that.

R.I.P. Dad
He took me to my first home game when Phipps was our quarterback. Many more after that. Watched all on broadcast when we still lived in Ohio. Then when DirecTV came about with The Return, we never missed one until he got sick. I think the most disgusted I ever saw him since '99 was the ridiculous last second loss to Chicago years ago, the playoff loss to the Steelers in that Holcomb game and the Rudd thing. Mercifully, I think, he became less affected by it as he got older. Oh......when Zeus got hit in the eye by the ref flag - he still talked about that until a couple years ago.
As far as moving forward watching this team, I'm still thinking about some hypnosis or slow moving kung-fu poses during the games. R Go Browns.
Sorry to hear about your Dad, AZ. I pray for comfort for you and your family.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Sorry to hear that, AZ. Thoughts to you and your family. I always hope the Browns win, but usually for me. This Sunday I hope as much as possible they can win for you.
Plans for the game: a 60 mile bike ride, then perhaps some quality time with my sawmill.
The bike ride sounds great
I haven't ridden my orange Cannondale to work once this year.
The sawmill, is that something new with you ?
New-ish. Bought when I moved to the country in 2021, but just got around to getting it set up and running. Just milled a huge white oak log this past Sunday. I have two more just like it ready to go as well as about a dozen hard maple, a handful of ash, and a couple black cherry waiting in the wings.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
Chilling with my coffee in the room right now. We will catch the train around 9, mill around W6th for an hour or so before heading in to the stadium around 11. Looks like it should be a pretty nice day.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
