I agree.. I used to take a lot of pride voting on Election Day... but recently I've switched to voting early because I wanted to vote quicker... plus I can vote at a place right by my work

My wife and I have done all we can, now it's up to the rest of the county, state, and country. Tomorrow night we'll find out if America has lost its mind or what.

She + Me voted late last week.
We went at 10:30-11:00 AM.
Zero wait time.
Our voices are already on the books. As always.

Our decrepit asses even masked up/lined up/showed up during 2020 lockdown to early vote. 2-3 days early: we waited 1.5 hour on line.
No mail-in votes, although we'd considered it. We stood in a 42° drizzle for 1.5 hr to re-elect 44.*

We don't shirk our duty; we don't swallow our voices.

*back then, all voters in line were offered bottled water, candy, noshes, and even pizza slices, regardless of red/blue coloration...

We made the move back to Colorado last summer to be closer to wife’s family. When we transferred our drivers’ s license they registered us then to vote. Got our mail in ballots a couple weeks ago and dropped them off over the weekend. Easy peasy, and bonus, no armed gunman lurking about.

The Mrs. and I voted today. Some things on the ballot here amaze me and it amazes me even more people don't seem to look into what they are actually voting for and or against. Here are just two examples in Tennessee......


Why is this still in the state constitution in 2022? And who in God's name would vote no on this?


Now on the surface this sounds like something I would most certainly support. But let me fill you in on what they aren't telling you. They aren't telling you it would still prohibit atheists from being elected to the state General Assembly. I'm certainly anything but an atheist. But you should not allow laws which promote those who believe the same as can hold office while those who believe differently than yourself can't. I would have been happy to support such a bill had it been inclusive in removing the language for both ministers and atheists.


It's only obvious they wish to make it impossible for anyone who doesn't believe as they do to have even a chance to hold office in this state.

while this specific comment won't affect the midterm results, its just further evidence of how Trump can't let any moment take the light off him. dude is't pro-america, or pro-maga. he's just pro-trump.

Thinking about the greater good, MAGA hatters, the real patriots, are about to put the pro-trump GOP in control of congress for a man who will sell them out to save himself.
