I was watching tape on Mohamoud Diabate LB.
He is UDFA out Florida then transferred to Utah.
The scouting reports show a lean athletic guy with draft grades from mid-rounds to UDFA.
He is 6'3" around 225 lb with 4.5 speed.
Has coverage skills and is a sure tackler.
Linebackers like him who transfer can get lost in the shuffle. He looks like the kind of UDFA who could stick and develop.
Most likely he will be used in ST.
He might be a guy to keep an eye during camp. If he can absorb the information quickly and look like he gets what he supposed to do.
Who knows? He has size and speed. I don't see him on the inside more like weakside LB. But he has good length and in today's game. Linebackers have to cover.

I agree on Diabate. I have mentioned him before.
I think he can be a good player and should be a solid to very good special teamer from the get go. Bubba is going to love the kid if he applies himself.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

A close friend of mine told me to keep an eye on this guy. He somehow knows his family.
I was curious so I watched some tape.
IMO you can find linebackers in the draft that got lost. Meaning they didn't play in big programs and there was not a lot of attention drawn to see the guy.
He has the measurables. His tape looks good. Nothing though that is high profile.
Somebody to watch. He has the length and speed to cover.

he was someone who some people were thrilled that we signed. and it's definitely a position of need for us, so he might stick
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
