See, somehow you think it's better when a president goes directly to a disaster site and gets in the way of the people trying to recover bodies and clear the streets. Some leaders care more about the recovery effort than a photo op. But then had he have gone right away you would have said he was in the way and cared more about a photo op than the recovery. Let's be real here. We can argue about timing, when or when not Biden should have gone to Hawaii, but it takes away from the larger points.

First: The only excuse for a comment of "no comment" is if you got caught standing there with a "can full of gas and a handful of matches" (shameless Eminem reference), certainly not acceptable if you are POTUS. But we're used to the fact that he is basically cuckoo so we blow it off as Joe being Joe... along with the later comment, referring to Maui in a speech in Milwaukee as "the one where you see on television all the time". Joe being Joe seems to be accepted as the sunk cost of not having Trump in the White House, doesn't mean everyone should see the charade as acceptable.

Then: Making statements about "the ground being warm" with a snicker on your face, and the silly story about almost losing his wife and classified document filing cabinet Corvette... is outrageously UNpresidential. Alas, it's just another in a long list of UNpresidential.

And that's a two edged sword these days.

We all got opinions. No one gets all kudos. On the basic subject- ain't it interesting the RIGHT wants to talk about millions Biden's kid got, but not a word about THE FAKE son in laws cabinet position he worked for BILLIONS- not millions- BILLIONS from Saudis and other middle east countries while dear old daddy in law was President- very interesting.

I would like to address a couple of other "talking points" some have tried to make on here that make no sense at all.

Claiming Biden has "puppets" that run everything. Which is a hilarious point to try and make. You see, smart presidents feel it's a great idea to have advisors. No president knows everything about everything. So what they do is have expert advisors on major topics and policies. As such these experts can devote their time to the ins and outs about things such as foreign policy, domestic policy, the economy and a host of other topics. These people keep the president informed and updated. Some people think that knowing more is a good thing. When they say "puppets" they actually are referring to presidential advisors.

Then we had a president who only wanted to surround himself with people who were yes men. People who only agreed with any crazy notion that crossed his mind. In this case he actually had zero experience in foreign and domestic policy and from a business standpoint had only worked in a family business where he had the final say and no experience working with a public company where things had to pass through a board or committee. His experience in working with other governing bodies or anyone who could question his decision making was non existent. Sadly a man with no experience with many things one needs to know about being president had no desire to have any experts give him their honest and open expertise on matters he certainly needed help with.

And somehow they wish to make it out that having advisors who you listen to is a bad thing.

Then this entire "Biden was on vacation" BS.

They seem to quickly forget that trump played golf over 300 days while he was president. Mostly always at his own privately owned golf resorts. Which for thinking people may appear as though he was using the office of the presidency to promote his private business interests.

Good points on President Trump's golf outings.....plus, he stated he wouldn't vacation as much as Obama did....another lie. His posse, or followers would highlight he didn't accept his Presidential pay- a position he stated while campaigning....but he never said he wouldn't charge all government security, etc.,etc. forced to stay at his properties over years of office---he made millions off government....yet he still sells "collector figures"....damn, ain't he Presidential.......WOW, what a loser.
