Last week I felt confident.

In many ways I dislike that feeling. Division games are always a bitch.

The Ravens are hurting. They are missing a number of players. It is a home game. A game we need to win.

The one thing that keeps me going this year is this defense. You can see the confidence in the players. They have the talent and Schwartz is providing the answers to release that talent. Defenses typically don't slump. Offenses can turn it over. Players can make costly mistakes on offense. Defense is about physicality. Just consistently beating the guy across from you.

The weather looks good. Win the turnover battle and win the game. Let the defense set the tone. Execute on offense.

I like our chances with this D. We will need to avoid bizarro offense play calling (still want to see some Van Pelt). I hope it doesn't come down to a STs game as the deciding factor. Crowd is part of the game tomorrow as well. Unleash the Elf! Some fair officiating would be helpful.

This week in sports I have seen two calls that defy imagination.

First was the Cooper "not out of bounds" call where the official was right there looking???

The second was in a Braves game. For some odd reason some plays are not reviewable? Man on third. Batter checks swing but fouls the ball. You could hear it. The batter and catcher do not move after the ball goes past the catcher and the man from third scores. They would not review the play. The replay shows clearly the ball hit the bat. Manager from the Braves comes out and explains what happened. Umpires huddle. They don't change the call??

Fortunately both plays did not change the outcome. It could have been way worse.

So much goes into what happens on a field. The last thing you want is a blown call. But in both cases it did not have to happen. That is why cameras are in place.

All I will say is that, I hope the defense is not reading the reporting this week.

There will be no playoffs. Can’t play with who we have out there and compounding it with garbage playcalling and worse execution. We don’t have good skill players on offense period. Browns 20 - Bears 17.

It can't happen because a formula holds up over time,
that any nfl team,

the number of times their team reaches 23, sometimes 22, sometimes 24 but not @uite, ... but the formula of any nfl team and the number of times they reach 23 or more points in a game for Their teams score
in any type of game outcome, in a win, or a loss, or a tie, will e@ual the teams number of wins over time, so that,

if you hope to win games about fifteen to nothing, you will be asking for a future loss.

You have to aim to score large amounts of points every game, by any means necessary.

If Watson can't play and DTR goes in, then things offensively can be however but
they have to AIM to score 30 to 40 or more points Every game so they can end up above 23 after the other team interrupts some of your offensive drives.

I expect both offenses to score a lot and the Browns need to be ready to have all their barrels blazing if they hope to win, and continue winning.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

The Ravens' defense is going to be crowding the line daring the Browns to pass. Should still try and establish the run with Ford and Hunt. If they can't, then Robinson must have a good game.

On defense. Browns need to get pressure on Jackson and contain him when he tries to run. Need a big game from the DL and secondary.

If the Browns can win the time of possession and limit the penalties and TOs, they should win the game.
